  Francesca and Camila were extremely helpful and very kind.I travel frequently for business, but I have never met people who take such great care of their guests.Their service was truly exceptional.

  Stayed here for 2 nights with my fiancee with the view to seeing Como and the surroundings. Yes the hotel is a little tucked away from Lake Como but we got bus on both days cost us maybe 1€ each and took around 30 minutes. Easy. The area and setting of the hotel itself is lovely and picturesque views of the mountains. Breakfast had few amount of options however hot options including bacon, eggs, toast etc alongside cold meats and cheeses good selection overall.Dinner we opted for the set menu for 25€ per person and we’re not disappointed the food was tasty and beautifully cooked, the waiting staff including restaurant manager Allesandro were incredibly helpful and polite. Would recommend.

  Disappointing 4-Star Promise: Poor Service, Cold Room, and Limited Dining Responses

  I booked this stay as part of a British Airways holiday, drawn by the promise of a 4-star hotel. Unfortunately, it did not live up to that standard and left us disappointed from start to finish.What happened- Late arrival and dining limitations: We arrived late on a Friday and hoped to get a quick bite or a drink. There were no food options available in the room, and there was no vending machine or on-site dining to rely on. Not the end of the world, but it’s a basic expectation that a 4-star hotel should meet, especially when guests may arrive after a long travel day.- Room comfort and temperature: On our second night, the room was freezing. We adjusted the thermostat, but there was little to no relief. When we approached reception for assistance, we felt the response was curt and unhelpful rather than proactive or empathetic.- Breakfast quality: Breakfast was merely average. Nothing stood out—in a negative way it wasn’t terrible, but it didn’t make up for the shortcomings elsewhere and felt inconsistent with the hotel’s supposed 4-star status.- Maintenance and ambiance: The property itself feels worn in places. There are visible signs that repairs and updates are needed, which detracts from the overall experience. A few fix-ups could go a long way toward restoring a more comfortable and polished atmosphere.- Customer service: The most disappointing element was the level of customer care. Staff appeared uninterested in going the extra mile to assist or accommodate guests’ needs. This left us feeling undervalued and frustrated, especially after a long day of sightseeing and travel.Impact on our trip- The combination of limited dining options, an uncomfortable room, and lackluster service significantly dampened what should have been a pleasant weekend in Como.- Given these issues, the stay overshadowed the surrounding experiences, such as exploring the local area and enjoying other aspects of our trip.

  Very disappointing week

  Hôtel in the middle of nowhere, the restaurant is closed for lunch. The bestioles are small with insufficient space for clothes ( 2 persons). Breakfast is very poor, one coffee machine for a group of 46 people + another larger group of around 100 students. No toasts, no fruit, scrambled eggs only in the small room ( but not for us). Staff is doing its best not being helpful.   Rude receptionist

  Can I start by saying that the room I booked was nicely decorated and clean it was a junior suite.. The breakfast was basic but ok, the hotel bar was poor.. No one staffing it and didn’t feel welcoming..The reason for my poor review was unfortunately the receptionist.. I had booked a long weekend away for my partners birthday.. The journey over was not good and delayed us overnight (due to flights, that I believed the hotel had details of through the company I’d booked with) So we had missed the first night, I however had emailed the hotel twice before to check certain arrangements and had heard nothing back.. So I made my way as quickly as possible to the hotel early the following morning to be greeted by a very rude lady on receptionist saying I’m lucky to have the room.. No sympathy or knowledge as to why we were late just utterly rude response.. it’s safe to say we will not be staying here again.. If they’d read my emails they’d of known that it was my partners birthday and his present from me to him.. They ruined our experience there and we felt uncomfortable the whole time there.. Even on purposely missing breakfast (which is paid for) to avoid the receptionist.. I booked this through an agent love holiday who needs to know this hotel is far from Como and is not suitable for couples as there’s nothing at all around the hotel no pool, no bar, no restaurants.. Nothing, it’s more suited for conferences and work.. If we hadn’t of hired a car we would of been spending lots of money on taxis into como.. Such a shame, as Como itself was beautiful.. Just a shame you can’t be greeted with a welcoming smile and manners..
