  WOW! What can we say? We cannot believe that this hotel is only 2 stars. We stayed here for 1 week, half board and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Not only was our room spotless, the food was amazing. The breakfast was continental style, and there was plenty of it, and the evening meal was a 4 course Italian feast every evening. What great value for money. The staff were all really friendly and accommodating and we would definitely stay here again. We hired a car for this trip, which gave us the freedom to get around whenever we wanted, but there is a bus stop right outside the hotel. There are plenty of walks, starting from the hotel and we walked up Mount Grona, which took us 3 hours from the hotel. It is an intermediate/difficult walk and would not recommend it for children. But we thoroughly enjoyed the climb and the views from the top were amazing.

  Amazing people, family atmosphere

  Unfortunately, we only could spend a weekend at this hotel, but we've made some unforgettable memories..It's a family run business and they're very sweet, smiling, beautiful people, they've truly made us feel comforting. Food was excellent, by the way we've forgot to compliment the chef...Thank you for the housekeepers for making our bed every day and let us come backs for a squeaky clean room.Thank you for the early morning coffees also.The young receptionist lady speaks flawless english and she has helped us big time with our transfer misery as we haven't booked one for our way back, so she managed to find a real gentleman to take us back to the airport, very early morning, so if you read this , once again, Grazie Mille🙂Brilliant staff, jaw dropping environment, good food, bird chirping.. that's what you get here.. Looking forward to revisit.. If you decide to come to Breglia also would recommend to walk up to the top of mountain, well worth it as the view is spectacular! Thank you ever so much!!

  Why is this hotel only 2 stars ? This hotel should be 5 star it is beautiful. The hotel is spotless the staff go beyond there means and the food is delicious. Our transfer let us down and I was in a real state as airport 3 hours away. The girl at the hotel could not do enough she rang friends and family and got us a lift so we could go home. Thankyou from the bottom of our hearts for the fantastic experience we loved every minute at the hotel and will be telling all our friends and family. Thankyou alberto breglia always 5 star to us x

  Mavellous stay on Lake Como

  Stayed here for 4 nights in June 2023 and had an amazing experience. Room was large and spotlessly clean with a lovely views from our balcony. Staff were welcoming and extremely helpful. We chose the half board option and were really pleased that we did, breakfast was a european buffet style with fresh bread, meats, cheeses, fruit, pastries, too many options to mention. Our evening meal was a home cooked 4 course affair served either in the lovely dining room or on the open veranda outside. Different traditional dishes every night. The hotel is located a short bus ride outside Menaggio on a hill side, there is a regular bus service and the bus stop is right outside the hotel. Should we ever return to Lake Como we will definitely stay here again.Well done Albergo Breglia!
