    Extremely horrible experience. The hotel is literally falling apart. The lift can fall down at any minute- it is totally unsafe. The hotel seems like it was built in the 1950’s interms of the built quality. Also, the taxi takes about 1 hour to reach the top of the hill at the hotel gate - and the guy at the reception totally unhelpful. DO NOT STAY HERE It is totally not value for money Filippo D'Ambra, Altro at Asnigo Hotel, responded to this review Dear Guest,Many thanks for your kind comment. The Hotel may seem it was built in the 1950's, but It's actually from 1914.Thankfully, the elevator has been built way later, and has no problem at all.We are on a 3 minutes car-ride hill from Cernobbio center, not sure you are addressing the right place.Grazie!Hotel Asnigo Staff

    Nice hotel a little bit away from the city but with a stunning view. Good parking in a garage just across the street from the hotel. A big question mark is the extremely small rooms.

    Fabulous 2 nights amazing views over the Lake Como

    Lovely Hotel perched on the hillside above the town and Lake Como with superb views and a fresh yet traditio al look. All areas clean and fresh and feeling cared for, we stayed two nights on a motorcycle trip and booked a balcony lake facing room on Expedia and got room 207. Room was relatively small but suited the purpose fine and the balcony and the view are superb. Breakfast included was a good buffet range and excellent coffee. Staff friendly. Garage available for secure parking of the motorcycle for €20 per night. We had dinner on the terrace overlooking the lake one night, lovely tasty food and reasonable prices. Super outdoor pool on a deck overlooking the lake. The walk down to the lake is steep and not for those with mobiluty challenges and the lanes to the hotel ditto and best suited a small car or motorbike. Worth the trek though as the breeze is refreshing and the views superb and the hotel we'd recommend. Hope the review is helpful.

    The view from our room was insane, it was straight out of a movie! The room was small but clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless. The hotel was at the top of the hill, so lots of good exercise and perfect for burning off the calories after wine and dinner!Lots of good places to eat nearby. Breakfast in the hotel was ok, I’m not a big breakfast fan so I only went once for coffee.

    Booked through booking.com, the hotel has good staff, is clean and hospitable. The downside is a the location which is set high on the hill overlooking Cernobbio. Great views from the hotel, of the lake and surrounding area, but a good 15 min walk from the lake up a fairly steep hill. Breakfast is ok, nothing special, dinner better. A gripe I have is they turn the air con off irrespective of the weather, because the season is over?Special thanks to the multi tasking bar man / restaurant manager who did Stirling work.
