    Great location, few steps from lake and even fewer from shops/restros. Hotel has a modern look in public areas and rooms. Lift however is archaic and completely useless. Room generally quiet, little on the small side with limited storage. Staff friendly, breakfast good, no bar or restro for dinner but loads of stuff around close by.Good for a limited stay in Como

    This is a really nice hotel in the centre of Como within easy walking distance of lots of shops and restaurants and the Lake.Had a good room with a balcony but the balconies have a very high balustrade and no seating but you could see across the rooftops.The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the hotel was very clean with a decent breakfast included. Only very slight issue was couldn’t get the air con any height to really cool the room but it was sufficient.The hotel doesn’t have parking but it’s an easy walk from Como central parking.

    I found this hotel when an Airbnb let me down and what a great find this was! We booked 3 rooms for 6 of us and two were standard double rooms and 1 was a deluxe room. The deluxe room was smaller but still fine for 1 adult and 1 child. The standard doubles have space and one even had a balcony at the top level. Coffee/tea facilities all in the roomHotel was recently refurbed and had most of the amenities only thing missing in rooms is an iron and ironing board for me! The location is fab- we was a 7min walk to Como Giovanni train station and a 5 min walk to the lake. There was a great piazza right near the hotel so in evenings a great place to hang out and eat. This hotel is a great find and we will return and recommend the location to all. We had a tour booked on one of the days and that was a simple meet up at Hotel Barchetta so the location again was great as that was a 5min walk. Breakfast was included and was simple but nice , the staff looked after us and they had halal chicken sausages which was a bonus for us! Halal Turkish pizza kebab place literally a 1 min walk from hotel also. A gem in Como !

    Fantastic location, close to everything!!Rooms are very very tight.Breakfast buffet is a delight.. Special thanks to Daniella for obliging for all our requests!!If you're driving to the hotel, beware... Its like the game of Tetris to reach the Hotel:))

    This hotel is a real gem! I was picking between 3 options from a search on line and am so glad I chose Plinius ! This was the best room of our trip - it was a huge room, great bathroom, lovely bathrobes, coffee maker in the room, great location, good breakfast. I can't say enough about how wonderful it was. I just wish we'd been able to stay another day!
