    Unfortunately the apartment ( Vila Tulipano ap 7) was very dirty, nobody asks for luxury when booking at this price but still it is common sense for a place to be cleaned. Laundry was clean, towels also but still the apartment self was not updated, terrace was also dirty and by that I mean that it was not at all maintained. Manager was also a very rood during our dinner at the restaurant of the hotel. In one word I would describe out stay at residence Porto Letizia as DISAPPOINTING and we will never return.

    I stayed already at Porto Leizia in May 2024, then had an apartment in the main building with lovely lake views, but there was unpleasant noise and music from the restaurant and bars terraces on the ground floor right in front of the apartment, almost all day long and until late in the evening. Almost impossible to open the windows. As the situation on the lake is very nice, I tried again this year by renting one of the second line garden villa apartments. I had insisted upon booking to have an apartment with a parking very nearby. Upon arrival, I was informed, that the parking would be completely blocked for the next three days due to a car rally on the week-end and a market on Monday. First deception: I was obliged to park my car about 300 m away. The rally was an gathering of between 50 and 100 race cars which occupied the whole premises of Porto Letizia, even on the ways between the villas and at the lake front and around the bars and restaurants. There were service tents and service vans everywhere and a horrible noise of howling engines of these tuned race cars. It started Friday evening and lasted till Sunday evening with noise from about 9 in the morning till late in the evening, The whole place was transformed into a service camp for this rally. It was horrible and there was a health hazardous intense exhaust fumes smell all over place. No information about this event was given upon booking the place via telephone. I asked for a refund of two days (because this week-end was COMPLETELY spoilt) which was flatly refused. The Happy rentals agency claimed that there was no legal obligation to inform potential clients about such events and that this was a public event (although happening on the grounds of a holiday resort). They are obviously only interested in money and profit and not in customer satisfaction. Very poor behaviour!The apartment itself was ok, but very dark inside due to overlying balconies and big trees right in front. Even in bright sunshine you had to light the interior lights, Cleanliness was mediocre (there were spider webs in the angles of the kitchen and dust on the floor). The dish washer was smelly. The internet connection (WiFi) was a catastrophy as well, being dysfunctional over half of the time. The exterior of the whole place was neglected with lots of dirt (plastic and paper waste, soda cans and beer bottles) and there was a large abandoned building site of a planned but never finished extension of the place at the borders of the park giving a real Eastern Europe feeling of the 1980s . There were almost all of the time dogs barking, music playing and people shouting.The location directly on the lake shores is exceptional but that is the only good thing you can say, This is a declining resort and I don't recommend it if you are looking for a quiet and pleasant holiday stay. Two stars and not one, just for the exceptional location on the lake!

    The mountain apartment we stayed in is located in a block above a noisy bar that operates til 1am. One of the staff then leaves on his scrambler motorbike and revs it up and down in front of the block. The gardener then starts at 8am which wouldn't be a problem if we could go to bed at a normal time.The apartment itself is great and the location too. It's just the bar beneath and the staff that operate it that ruin it for everyone else.You want to feel refreshed after a holiday, and we (my husband and two kids - 8 and 10 years old) were all lethargic as a result! I would not recommend and will not be returning! It sounds like the noise from the bar downstairs and the activities of the staff made it difficult for you to fully enjoy your stay.     Very dirty apartaments..

    Very dirty, apartments with old worn-out furnishings. A musty smell. There is information on the Facebook page about the pool which is overgrown and closed.The object of its glory days is over. The service charges for insurance in the amount of EUR 25, which is supposed to protect damages in the apartment and quick check-out.WIFI speed terrible.

    At this moment we stay in Porto Letizia. We were so lucky to get appartment T9, which is located at the top-floor with breath taking lake view!The appartment was nice and clean on arrival, and we enjoy the Italian style.The facility has a bar, restaurant, pool, boulevard, labyrinth, but most important a beach on the lake side. Swimming in the lake fantastic. So fresh and clean!Porlezza is a cute little town. It seems like the time has stood still. Old style houses, little streets, small pizzerias and the best ice cream!One thing is sure...
