  An absolutely great hotel, staff were great, food was amazing, rooms cleaned every day and great spa facilities. Would definitely book again.

  After reading some of the negative comments prior to departure, we were pleasantly surprised on arrival. All the staff were very welcoming & helpful. Our room was spacious, had a large TV on the wall (all channels in Italian), the beds were very comfortable (we love a firm mattress) and it was extremely clean. The bathroom was spacious too with plenty of towels (which were changed every other day) & with complementary toiletries. The breakfast offered varied choices of cold meets & cheese, yoghurts & fromage blanc, boiled eggs & a range of pastries, breads & jams. In the evening, dinner offered varied menus everyday with 4 choices of starters & mains. The antipasti table had lots of different salads, hot dishes, cold meets & different flavour focaccia! The service was good & prompt & the waiters & waitresses very attentive to our needs. For dessert, there were choices of cakes, fruits salads & panna cotta.The bar is well stocked & there are plenty of seats/sofas around to chill with a drink or socialise before dinner. There was a wellness centre which we did not use as we forgot our swim suits! The ski room was next to the garage & had heated boot racks & ski hanging racks, no lockers though. The ski bus stops were just outside the hotel so if you didn’t want to walk the 10 mn walk to the gondola or wished to go to Canazei, you could take the ski bus; we just took a picture of the times & organised ourselves around it, which worked a treat 👍🏻 All in all, the hotel is great value for money & well worth the *** status.

  Travelled as a group of ten, all blokes. Typical ski hotel, rooms adequate, warm, plenty of hot water, spotless and fully functional. Every room had a balcony. Boot room was alright not enough seats but had somewhere to hang our skis.Food was adequate, something to fill you up every day, served traditional laden cuisine. Walk to the lifts was 5 minutes relatively flat.Wellness facilities were good, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna, €30 for a week, good value.Campitello is lovely, Bar Evita was our regular haunt, went out for pizza one night at Angellos cheap as chips and delicious. We all agreed we would return to Campitello and the to the hotel.

  Cold food and only a slighty warmer welcome.

  Pros- Super clean rooms, cleaned every day, towels changed, beds made, floors vacuumed. Great feeling of cleanliness.- ski bus stop right outside.- shop and restaurants a very short walk away- new lift onto the mountain very close.- rooms warm and adequate.Cons- the food. Varies between stone cold to luke warm. Actually inedible. The evening soup option was replenished (when staff were reminded) barely warm. We felt very sorry for one young waiter who explained that it was because the food was prepared in the kitchen at the other side of the hotel but travelled through an ‘elevator’ (his words) to the serving area. We made our feelings clear but were told that is what we were getting. We ordered a pasta dish, it not only arrived cold but so so al dente it had clearly seen no heat/water. My husband described it as Fawlty Towers even more wrong. The breakfast was lovely, plenty of cereal, cold options and bread products. Our teenage sons (who will devour anything) felt a little dubious about the raw bacon and watery eggs??And the shower!! Imagine showering in a space smaller than an original red phone box! Even as small people we had to open the shower door to get the soap product which could only fit on the floor outside and couldn’t move to wash without scraping arms/knees.   Before going on our ski vacation, I had read reviews on Google and Trustpilot and was actually quite worried about the hotel where we would be staying for a week.BUT now that I’ve been here for almost a week, everything has been great!All the staff we’ve interacted with (at check-in and in the restaurant) have been friendly, helpful, and professional.The room and the spa are exactly as expected.Both meals are plentiful and feature good Italian food. There is a wide selection, both at the breakfast buffet and for dinner.If I ever find myself in this area again, I would gladly book another stay.
