The most disappointing part of our stay was the unprofessionalism of the staff, which completely overshadowed what could have been a pleasant experience.

Rude and Unprofessional Management – Stay Away

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights with a group of 14 people as part of a friend’s bachelor party. While the hotel itself is decent and the location is fine, the real problem is the staff — especially the manager, who showed a complete lack of professionalism.On the day of departure, I had an unopened bottle of Amaretto that I left in the room, since we were heading to the airport. The cleaner brought it down to reception and insisted we take it with us. Since we couldn’t, I suggested everyone in our group take one shot to finish it responsibly. We were calm, not shouting, and causing no disturbance. Yet the reception staff made an unnecessary scene. First one receptionist came over, then a senior one, and finally the manager herself — who immediately started shouting “fuori, fuori” (out, out) at us. I even gave €20 for the use of glasses, but instead of handling it reasonably, the manager escalated everything with arrogance.Her behavior was extremely disrespectful and could have provoked a conflict if we were not a peaceful group. It is unacceptable for paying guests to be treated this way, especially when we had been quiet and respectful.Another disappointing detail: breakfast was included in our booking, yet one of us was asked to pay extra just to have his eggs cooked the way he wanted.Overall, the hotel is fine, but the staff — particularly the manager — turned what should have been a pleasant stay into a frustrating and unpleasant experience. Definitely not recommended if you expect professionalism, respect, or basic hospitality.

We were really satisfied with the facilities offered by the hotel,nice staff, a breathtaking view from the balcony of the room and a very good breakfast with varities of food...A good stay at la boite and good value for money.

Old-fashioned hotel, very simple service and not assigned to a 4-star hotel. Management is unable to successfully address billing. In 5 nights, the sheets have not changed, the same for those in the bathroom!

The rooms are old and toilet dosn't have the box for shower (80s style).Check-in at 3 p.m. and check out at 10 a.m. is not even possible to experience in New York.In the evening we wanted to sit at the fire and a worker told us that we couldn't add any log. Therefore, to check if we were respecting the intimidation, he was all the time looking at us like criminal.
