Location

    Excellent value in the heart of Cortina

    I stayed at Hotel Olimpia in Cortina d’Ampezzo and I’d give it a solid 4/5. Even though it’s a 3-star hotel, the service, location, and overall value for the price make it absolutely worth it.The renovated rooms are great — modern, comfortable, and well designed. Yes, they’re on the smaller side, but they have everything you need and feel fresh and updated. The breakfast deserves a special mention: excellent quality, just the right variety, and perfect fuel for skiing in winter or hiking in summer.Massimo at the front desk was incredibly kind and helpful. We had a small electrical issue in our room and he helped us solve it quickly, which we really appreciated.Parking can fill up fast, but honestly it wasn’t as difficult as it sounds to find parking nearby in town. The location is one of the biggest highlights — you’re just steps away from some of the best bars, restaurants, and shops in Cortina. On weekend nights it can get a bit noisy because of the bars downstairs, but nothing too bad.Overall, I highly recommend it for the price-to-quality ratio. For skiing, you’re about a 5-minute walk to the ski bus stop (which gets you easily to Tofana — my favorite ski area in Cortina), and you can also reach another nearby chairlift just by walking.

    Stay away…. This place the beds are small and uncomfortable. There is this giant construction project in front of the hotel which they fail to mention on any of their info in any of there public information. There is a bar which is loud and the rooms get a lot of noise. Overpriced for such a low quality hotel. stayincortina management, General Manager at Hotel Olimpia, responded to this review Dear ryanj,we are sorry to read that your stay didn't meet your expectations. Our guest's opinion always drives our improvement, but in this case you might have forgot to read the message that all our guests receive before their stay, here is the message:"We are happy to share with you that we have just renovated our breakfast room, to welcome you as best as possible!In view of the 2026 Olympics - which, given our name, we like to think is a bit like our celebration - the whole town of Cortina is renewing and improving.This currently entails the presence of some construction sites in the area. One of these, for the construction of a new car park, is located in the immediate vicinity of our hotel.The access road to our hotel has changed. Now it is necessary to access directly from Corso Italia, from Piazza Fratelli Ghedina 1, and then enter Largo delle Poste, on the left."As you can see, even if the presence of construction sites is predictable in a small town preparing for the Olympics, we do inform our guests.Respectfully, the Staff

    Beautiful town and this hotel is right in the center

    Die to all the Olympic construction, with blocked off streets, this hotel was hard to find. But once found, it is great location. Front desk staff went out of their way to help us park (for a nightly fee). Rooms were clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast options. Would love to go back (after Olympics and the enormous amounts of construction going on).

    This hotel is awful / the worst experience I lived: mold in the bathroom, no oxygen in the room, the tenant smokes at the entrance at the hotel, so it can be smelt in the corridor, wifi did not work well, the music from outside can be heard really loudly, mattress was worn, a noise of a continuous motor along the whole night, the sauna was not included in the room price even if the price was really high!Do not go there!

    We were upgraded to a recently remodeled room for free (we even had our choice of room). Clean, very nice, and comfortable room with a porch. Complimentary breakfast was good every morning. The staff was very friendly and gave great recommendations.
