    While the location is central in this town with nothing to do, the hotel is dated. The photos look nice- the rooms are not. Rooms are clean but very small and uncomfortable. The bedspread saw better days. We reserved two nights and asked to cancel one after arriving but were refused! We did not stay for breakfast so cannot review that. In brief- this is at best a two star hotel in a one star town.     We have checked in at the most beautiful hotel, Hotel Albergo del Chianti, right next to the main square in Chianti. Super nice, clean, good rooms, tip top breakfast. Polite staff, great service and recommandations 🤩 they get 5 stars from me ⭐️

    It’s a decent place but not more. The room was quite small, the shower tiny. The bathroom had seen better days (cracked tiles etc) but everything was clean. The air conditioning made some noice so I had to turn it off. The breakfast was quite basic. But the location is great!

    Lovely quiet hotel in the heart of Chianti.

    We only stayed here one night and wished we had longer here. The hotel is right on the main square where there is a market on Saturday. The staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was smallish but clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast buffet was good. There was a great looking swimming pool but we didn't have time to use it.Greve in Chianti was a pleasant change after Florence - relatively few tourists but a good selection of shops and restaurants.

    A small hotel set on the edge of a glorious square with a number of restaurants. The hotel has a good sized pool and very pleasant seating area. The rooms are clean and the breakfast buffet was good. Most notably of all the staff were excellent. So helpful and happy and made our stay very enjoyable. Thank you.
