    This place is beautiful! Wonderful staff, good breakfast buffet, great place that is still a walkable distance from city center Florence. Still able to get away from the hustle and bustle, and rest comfortably. Highly recommend this place!

    Beautiful luxury hotel. The gardens and grounds were a dream. These staff members went out of their way to make our stay a very special one. Nicoletta at the reception desk, Vanessa at the bar, and Danelle driving the shuttle. We will definitely stay here again.

    We visited Villa Agape for our daughter’s wedding. I can’t say enough great things about this place. Before our stay the communication with Elenora to assist us with wedding plans was outstanding! Upon arriving we were greeted with any assistance our family needed and we all felt welcomed by Nicoletta. Loris was also very helpful with suggestions during our stay and very attentive. Through out our stay from breakfast, to dinner and the wedding day everyone from the restaurant was outstanding! Food, drinks and service was top quality! The location is absolutely stunning from the inside to the gardens…everything has charm. We are truly thankful and feel blessed that all your staff cared to make our stay and our daughter’s wedding day a memorable celebration! Gratzie mile Villa Agape! Familia Sapp

    Beautiful grounds, and a lovely break from the overwhelming crowds

    Staying in this hotel is an absolute treat. The staff, particularly Nicoletta, were extremely helpful and friendly. They actually provided us with a free upgrade to a junior suite just to ensure that my mother, who has mobility issues, wouldn't have to take stairs!! Just note that, while there is an elevator (and it's an adorable one that manages to match the vibe of the hotel), there are a handful of mandatory steps to enter the hotel. I'm sure the staff can find a way to accommodate you if you have issues as long as you give them a heads up! The shuttle into Florence is pretty convenient! It runs from 9-1 and 4-8, so outside of those windows, you'd need to either drive or grab a taxi. For the most part, we were able to use the shuttle without any issues. The free breakfast is WONDERFUL. The staff can make veggie smoothies upon request. The grounds are stunning and certainly worth exploring! We felt pampered during our entire visit. It's such a beautiful place to stay. The beds are slightly on the firmer side, but not too firm for a side sleeper like myself. I would highly recommend this location over staying within Florence itself, particularly if you have a car. It was a lovely break from the smothering crowds of the city.     Amazing Gem Off the Beaten Path.

    I can't say enough good things about this hotel! I wanted a quiet, relaxed atmosphere away from the main tourist area and got exactly that! The very friendly receptionist started out by taking me on a short tour of the hotel -- I have never had that happen before. The room was in perfect condition, the service in the restaurant was very good and the food was delicious. Breakfast buffet had a great selection. The grounds are amazing. I sat on the patio with a Chianti and watched the sunset. There's a lovely indoor lounge/bar area for when the outdoors got too chilly. There's also an olive grove you can stroll through. The shuttle was perfect for getting in and out of town. The room was on the smaller side, and the bathroom/shower was a bit tight, but you have to remember you are in a very old building, and that's part of the charm.
