    We spent a night in Florence as a transition night, traveling from Spello to Cinque Terre. This was such a comfortable and well-managed hotel. The guest service was top-notch! It was very quiet, we had a spectacular breakfast before our train out of town, and they called a taxi, which picked us up in 5 minutes. Best Aperol spritz of the whole trip!! Thank you for such a great stay!

    We stayed here the last week in January while helping our daughter get settled in to her study abroad program and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful and the location was perfect. We will definitely be staying here again on our return visit.

    Good Stay Overall but Double Check Your Confirmation

    Overall, we had a good stay. The hotel is beautiful, and the location is fabulous for walking to the Duomo and museums. Check in was friendly and easy, and we enjoyed the happy hour each evening. I would definitely be willing to stay here again.My only caution would be that, if you book through a travel site, clarify terms with the hotel. We booked through Chase’s Travel Portal and my confirmation very clearly stated check out was at noon. Because we had a flight in the late afternoon, the noon check out time was perfect so we could get breakfast and enjoy one last walk around Florence. However, around 1130, as we were packing up and trying to make sure we had everything, the front desk agent knocked on the door and was very insistent that check out was at 11. After I explained my confirmation said noon (I was able to show the emailed confirmation ), the front desk agent agreed to let us finish packing up. While somewhat minor, it did create stress on our last day. I try really hard to be respectful and not overstay times, and I was left feeling like I had somehow done something wrong. The front desk agent said the hotel was not told about any noon check outs. Since they obviously have some agreement with Chase, it seems like communication should be better.

    A wonderful stay was provided by Aneta, Bernadette and Tomas. Both my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was very clean and beautiful and staff were amazing. We have travelled all over the world and the personal touch in your accommodation is exceptional.
