Location

This hotel is situated in commercial area of Novoli in the northwest of Florence. Recently, a new university building, a new court and various public buildings have been opened in this area. A bus stop lies only 100 m away, a service that allows guests to visit the historical centre, the most important monuments and museums as well as the congress centre in only 10 min. The hotel is only a few minutes from the Firenze north motorway exit and Peretola airport.

Facility

25 junior suites, 18 single rooms and 70 double rooms are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. There are a number of shops as well.     A hotel that isn't focused on customer satisfaction.

    It's about eight stops from Firenze Santa Maria train station. The rooms are large, but they feel anything but a hotel room. The noise when opening the balcony blinds is terrifying. The insulation between the rooms is very poor. Constant noises can be heard. There's no drinking water in the rooms. The TV remote was broken. There's air conditioning, but it doesn't work because there's central air conditioning. The receptionist didn't care about my cold and told me it wasn't the air conditioning season. The shower stall is so small that it's impossible to shower without bumping into it. There's constant noise from the blinds, shower stalls, etc., like a house of horrors. I think not putting a soap dish in the shower stall is a tradition in Italy. The breakfast room, to put it mildly, is the size of a medium-sized bus. I think arranging the tables in a U-shaped pattern would create more space. There's a waitress at breakfast who constantly yells, as if to tell you to leave as soon as possible. The tables are so crowded together that it's impossible to eat comfortably. Would I stay at this hotel again? #never

    I stayed here on a trip with friends and were sharing rooms. We went out into town one night and had agreed with the hotel staff we would leave the keys with staff and grab on our return, open the door and bring them back down so others staying out could get back in.When we returned and went to ask for the keys, I advised I would bring it back for my roommate so he could get into the room.The male staff member working that night was super rude, ignorant and was yelling at me that I needed to bring the key back down, when I had already advised him I would. Others who were in my group said they had the same experience, including some who said he threatened to call the police because they were talking too loud outside walking into reception.

    First of all, I have rated this hotel as excellent because of the following reasons:A. The value for money.B. The free car park on site.The hotel itself is what you might expect from a two star hotel.Rooms have a private bathroom, A/C, TC and in our case a small balcony.Breakfast was included and okay.The train to/from the Airport and city center is at a 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel.And last but not least, staff was friendly and helpful.Of course, you can make remarks about the maintenace of the property and the rooms itself, but is was fine for the night (or a cou-ple of nights.

    Worst Hotel in Florence

    The ambience of the hotel is poor. I did not feel comfortable right from entrance. Staff is not non cooperative and non supportive. Staff at counter shows their busyness and have no time to attend to the customer. Rooms are flithy, small and have no facilities. Switches are all broken inside the room, corridors are dirty and white wash is coming out from the walls. Hotel is not maintained at all. It is not worth staying here as customer will not get worth of money paid. Hotel is not worth paying more than Euro 40-45 per night whereas all the booking websites shows more than Euro 100. Please do not stay in this hotel. the experience is highly disgusted.

    A strategic place if you want to visit the heart of this ancient city of Florence, far from parking problems, parking is available, a tram five minutes walk takes you to the city center in ten minutes. The airport is not very far but no noise pollution. The rooms are comfortable but a bit old, the staff very pleasant and helpful, the hotel has suffered from the covid crisis and is holding up despite the lack of customers. Ample free indoor parking is available. I recommend this hotel to those who want to discover this city at a lower cost, a restaurant is available there in the evening. An establishment that many young and old will appreciate.
