Make sure you are booking the room in the pictures!!!

    rating16 Dec 2025

I stayed in two different rooms, da Vinci and Dante, and both of them were a terrible experience. Da Vinci is a “corridor” with two super small beds, cold bathroom (there’s no heater in the bathroom). Dante has a little bigger bed, but room is also super small, bathroom doesn’t have even a curtain, to have a bath you just throw water to all bathroom. Besides de great location, it doesn’t worth the money. Luisa, the manager didn’t support any of additional requests, so please, in the moment of your reservation be sure you are booking the “pictures” room and that you won’t need any flexibility in your stay

    Best location

One of the best locations you can have in Florence, right next to the famous Duomo. The Duomo from our room looked like a painting. It took my breath away every time I looked out. Breakfast that comes with the room was great. We had 2 cafe options to choose from. One was right under our room. Luisa, the owner, and staff was super nice and helpful. The only negative I can mention is the noise but it is understandable since we were in the thick of things.

    Best B&B in Florence

    rating25 Jan 2025

This is the best place to stay in Florence. It’s a small B&B with 5 rooms on the second floor of a historical building, directly facing the Duomo. I stayed in the best room, Brunelleschi, which had a balcony with a view of the Duomo. I could even see the view from my bed—it was like a dream. The room and the place as a whole are lovely, cozy, and genuine. It’s a little small but perfectly adequate. The owner, Luisa, is wonderful and always willing to help with anything. She even stayed later than her normal office hours just to help me carry my huge luggage upstairs. (Yes, there is no elevator, but this is clearly mentioned in the information.)The location is perfect—right in Duomo Square, which is the heart of the city, and from there you can easily walk to all the main points of interest in about 5 minutes. You can't get lost, as all you need to do is return to the most famous, central, and iconic spot in the city. As a solo female traveler, this made me feel much more secure. In summary, if I ever go to Florence again, I wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else. Highly recommended!

You’ll never find a better view in Florence

    rating03 Dec 2024

The location for this B&B cannot be faulted. You feel so close to the Duomo that you feel you could touch it! The B&B is on (I think) the second floor of the building, and is only accessible by stairs. Although there is a lift, it’s only available to (I think) residents. Just be aware of that if climbing / descending big concrete stairs isn’t your thing. Actually, we did say between us that we’d love to know what those stairs have witnessed over the years - if they could talk ..!We stayed in room #6 which had a teeny Juliet-style balcony overlooking all we wanted to see (Duomo). It was a shame we were there in November as it would have been lovely to sit and watch the world go by from it, as it was, it was a bit nippy!. It was a good sized room with an adequately sized bathroom. Vouchers are given for breakfast which can be exchanged in two coffee shops. We only used the one below the B&B so cannot comment on the other, we were given a coffee, orange juice, pastry and a sandwich. It was fine. Overall a good place to stay when visiting this lovely town.

Perfection in the Heart of Florence

    rating06 May 2024

This B&B is nestled on the renowned Piazza del Duomo, it offers a unique blend of comfort and charm. The owner, Luisa, extends a warm, familial welcome from the moment you step through the door. Inside, you'll find a haven of Florentine authenticity and comfort. Our room was a spacious, spotless retreat, complete with a charming balcony that offered panoramic views of the Duomo's iconic dome. A note for travelers - this historic building does not have an elevator, so it's a good idea to inquire what floor your room is on if you have heavy luggage. We were on the second floor and it was manageable.Breakfast was good and was offered in two restaurants in the Piazza. Luisa gave us insider tips on the hidden gems off the tourist trail. With its incredible location, beautiful and well-appointed rooms, and Luisa's warm hospitality, this B&B allows you to truly experience la dolce vita in one of the world's most enchanting cities. Can’t wait to return to Florence.
