  Definitely not a 4* hotel

  Sorry, but this is NOT a 4* hotel, definitely 2* at a push 3*.Stay here a couple of nights , but unfortunately, I wouldn't go back.Building is tired and needs alot of repairs. ( see pics).Restaurant staff very helpful. Lots of parking spaces, but to be honest that's the only good thing. Sorry

  It is absolutely not a four (4) stars hotel. Hospitality and welcoming is deficient . Hotel staff was not friendly and not helpful . The hotel needs a lot of maintenance and renovation . We had water coming in the room from the shower and the air conditioning was making so much noise. We had to change room. The breakfast was basic. Only thing positive was the location, parking and the restaurant next door I do not recommend this hotel.

  All reveiws are of the reveiwers opinion, this Hotel was chosen for us as a cheap package touring Italy by train and suited our needs, a fair distance from firenze, accessed via the tram from firenze to the airport from there becomes a little difficult to locate bus stops for Hotel, so took taxi @ €25. Upon arrival, hospitality a tad cool:-( Hotel in need of tlc, only charging points in bathroom, no tea making facilities, sound travels, although good nights kip. Bar opens at 7pm althou no atmosphere and felt like a hassle 🤦‍♀️Positives!! Super easy to access train from patigone to pisa via a 10 minute stroll, surrounded by shopping malls & excellent eateries, right next door, so rough with the smooth, all in all an interesting stay 😄

  TOO expensive for quality. No Air Conditioner working properly...

  The Hotel is really expensive for the quality and service they offer.I'm now in the Hotel and the Air Conditioner doesn't work properly and don't refresh the room. I called the reception and they told me that understand, but that there is the sun on the window and I must wait the night and it will get colder... Goof that I just need to wait the night, it could be worse if they said that I must wait for the winter to get fresh...Too expensive for the quality.It's a big Hotel and everything it's little old...

  Nice hotel, shame about the curtains and cigarette smoke

  Hotel First is situated near the town of Calenzano, Tuscany. It is a 25 minute train ride from Florence.The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the train station, get the Patagione stop not the Calenzano stop or you will be a 30 minute walk from the hotel. Trains are hourly until around 6pm, but not all trains stop there. The hotel bedrooms were very spacious and clean, beds weren't particularly comfortable, but ok. The biggest complaint I had was that they have hung the curtains about 30cm back from the actual window, and whilst looking straight on this is fine, when in bed there is a HUGE gap between the window and the wall which results in you being woken at 5am when the sunlight hits the room. The other issue is that the ground floor rooms do smell quite strongly of cigarette smoke, even though the hotel rooms are all non-smoking, not sure if this is a legacy issue, or whether some people were having crafty cigarettes but it was really noticeable. Hotel breakfast had a lot of choice and we dined twice in the restaurant in the evening which we found to be very good and reasonably priced for a hotel. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and understanding of my poor Italian. They nearly all spoke excellent English, which made things easier for us.
