This charming hotel enjoys a fabulous location in the historical centre of Santa Croce and is the ideal starting point for those wishing to visit the most famous sights in Florence's inner city. It is just a short distance to a diverse selection of shopping and entertainment venues and the nearest links to the public transport network are 200 m away.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 13 single rooms and 56 double rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing.

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can relax on the balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed or a queen-size bed.     We chose B&B Hotel Firenze due to its location and breakfast included which was excellent. Eleonora and Christine were so helpful and friendly, sorting out our airline return check-in form that we were struggling with as well as bus numbers. directions, eating places etc. More storage would have been useful but room was clean and OK. All in all a very good experience that we will repeat once the tramway is completed!

    We had an excellent 2-night stay at B&B Hotel Firenze City Center. The location is very convenient-within walking distance to many of Florence’s main attractions, which made sightseeing easy and enjoyable.What truly made our stay stand out was the exceptional service. We would especially like to commend Christian at reception. After we checked out and were already at the train terminal, one of our colleagues thought he had left his phone behind. We immediately sent an email and were surprised (and very grateful) to receive such a quick response from Christian, even though we expected to hear back the next day. He was incredibly helpful, efficient, and reassuring throughout.Customer service like this is rare and very much appreciated. We highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again.

    We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and there are good and bad points. Firstly the bad points. The hotel is situated on a busy main road so there is a lot of traffic noise particularly in rooms at the front of the hotel. The rooms and bathrooms on the first 3 floors of the hotel are in desperate need of refurbishment and are sad and depressing. Those on the 4th and 5th floors have been refurbished and are nice.The breakfast is buffet style and mediocre.On the plus side the reception staff are kind and do their best to sort out issues.The hotel is well positioned being a short walk from the River Arno with a pleasant walk of about 25 mins along the river into the city centre and the major attractions.For what we paid it was not good vlaue.

    The room was clean and comfortable. The view from our window was beautiful and staff were friendly and helpful. It was a little bit of a walk from many attractions but not terrible. Definitely need a taxi from the train station though.

    A solid choice in Flporence

    Overall this is a solid choice for a hotel in Florence. It is not right in City Centre, which is nice, but only a 20 minute walk from main attractions. It is a basic hotel - clean, beds, TV streamed (although only one channel CNN in English), and Wifi. The rooms and bathroom are small so if spending a lot of time in your room you may want somewhere else. The breakfast was great and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We stayed 4 nights (two at the beginning of our trip and two at the end) and the second room seemed slightly better but both very adequate.
