A great stay!

We have just ended our four nights in Florence, staying at Le Stanze del Duomo and we had a terrific stay. So central to everything and we had the added bonus of seeing (and hearing!) the Duomo from our window, a real bonus! Our room was very spacious as it had a double and single bed in it even though there were only two of us. There were coffee and tea making facilities which was terrific, and our bathroom was a generous size. My only complaint however was that the beds were so hard! That aside, the rooms were cleaned well and replenished with a generous number of towels. Breakfast was not on the premises, but around the corner at a local cafe. Not a problem for us but could be an issue for someone less agile/mobile. Overall, we had a very positive stay here and would recommend! BTW, great service, being able to store luggage if you check out and still have time to kill before you leave!

I had a wonderful stay at Le Stanze del Duomo in Florence and wanted to especially thank Dunia for her incredible kindness and help during my visit.The hotel itself is charming, comfortable and perfectly located in the heart of Florence, but what truly made my experience memorable was Dunia. She went above and beyond to assist me with a parcel that had been returned to Italy from Australia. Dunia very kindly went to the local post office to collect it for me, which was something she absolutely didn’t have to do. Her generosity and willingness to help meant so much and made a stressful situation so much easier.It is rare to come across someone who cares so genuinely about guests. Dunia’s warmth, professionalism and kindness are truly exceptional.Thank you again to Dunia and the team at Le Stanze del Duomo for such wonderful hospitality. I will always remember your kindness and hope to return again one day.

We so loved this adorable hotel. The perfect location and the staff was so nice. They helped us with finding the team, plus stored our bags twice. Our room was so spacious and clean. Stay here when you visit Firenze.

Be warned : No electricity in July 2025, so no air conditioning.

Hello,We stayed there for one night in July 2025. The quadruple room we had reserved was great at first — spacious, with excellent air conditioning, which was much needed given it was around 40°C outside!Unfortunately, after about 10 minutes, the electricity went out — no power at all. I went to the front desk, and they said they would call an electrician. We waited… and waited… but nothing happened.Eventually, they offered to split our family of four into two smaller rooms, which they seemed to think was a reasonable solution. We didn’t agree, so we ended up staying together in a smaller room that didn’t have enough beds. Needless to say, we didn’t sleep well.After returning from our trip, I contacted them to request a refund, given that we didn’t get the room we booked and had a poor experience. They refused. Very disappointing customer service — and be warned: power outages can happen, and you might be left without support.

The location of this hotel is perfect for your stay in Florence. The check in process was easy and they had no issue holding our luggage until our room was ready. I wish I had caught her name, but the lady checking us in was very helpful and gave us great recommendations for lunch and dinner. We wish we had been able to stay longer but can’t wait to visit again someday.
