    Don't stay here!!!! they say they are a 4 star hotel. Maybe a 2 star at best.Worst hotel I've ever stayed in in Europe. These was NO air conditioning even though their website said they had air. My room was 80 degrees farenheit all of the 4 nights I stayed. Why they turned off the air conditioning in the entire hotel 3 days before I arrived October 30th. Have you heard or global warming? It was not December. I had to sleep naked on top of the bedding, opened the window got tons of mosquito bites and came down with pneumonia. They gave me a fan which only moves the hot air around.Breakfast was aweful. Meager selection, powdered eggs, broken juice dispenser.Manager was totally not helpful, arrogant and rude.

    In the heart of Florence and ideal for wandering around the city. Restaurants are everywhere and the atmosphere is great. Hotel room was a good size and comfortable. Breakfast offered really good and the service was good too. Interesting hotel with various art installations. We stayed on the top floor and the room was quiet despite Florence being bustling and very busy. The hotel was a haven after a busy day in the city.

    Not a great experience. The location is good and the staff are very nice but the place feels down at heel, not particularly clean, the bedroom was far too small for the large bed, and the furniture was chipped and worn out- the door was hanging off the cupboard of the mini bar ( which was connected but room temperature). I requested an iron and ironing board- the board in particular looked like it had been fished out of a skip. The lighting in the bedroom had lamps not working. There were no bath towels in the shower room, and when we arrived back in the evening after walking around the city, the reception was deserted so we couldn’t request some. The staff are very friendly, but you can tell it needs a refresh- it feels like the management have decided not to invest in the hotel for many years.

    Had a bad feeling as soon as we began up to our room, smells odd in there and the place was empty. Heading to the room, the place feels abandoned. To the left of our room was an empty space where they had storage of linens or mattresses, plastic trash on the ground, not a good sign. Our room was a decent size, but looked dirty. Walls were dirty on either side of the bed, no headboard and the walls where you’d have to prop your pillows on were dirty as well. Closet had random hangers in it, all mismatched and old. The bathroom was okay, spacious and it seemed like it was recently updated but the rest of it was just very depressing so we contacted our travel agent and checked out that same night. Don’t stay here unless you don’t mind a cheap, dirty room. Girl at the front desk was very nice and kept apologizing for us leaving. Hotel needs to update the rooms, clean the walls and paint and make that empty, dirty space outside our room into a nice seating area or something, assuming the owner doesn’t want to put ANY money in this place.

    The hotel is very close to everything, 4 min walk to Duomo di Firenze,9 min walk to Ponte Vecchio,very good location.From the 1st moment we steped in the reception area,Daniela welcomed us with a lovely smile.Reception is opened 24 h and you can call them should you need help with anything.The room is everything you need and the bed is so comfortable.The breakfast selection was good and we had a nice time in the restaurant.Such a good experience and I want to thank Daniela for beeing extra helpful during our stay.
