    The BEST stay!

    We came for our honeymoon and it made our trip entirely! The bbq was incredible, the staff was super kind and helpful, and our room and the property was stunning! Will definitely come back for our anniversary. We are so grateful for the care they showed us for our honeymoon from the beautiful room to the champagne to the breakfast on our way out early in the morning. This little town is also spectacular and quaint! Can’t recommend it enough.

    This hotel is situated on top of a hill and has fantastic views over the whole area.The rooms are spacious and very clean.The staff are so friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble.Great pool with fantastic views.Excellent breakfast .I certainly can recommend this hotel.

    I was at Hotel Borgo Di Cortefreda for my niece’s wedding celebration weekend. The views from our window were breathtaking! The room was comfortable and roomy. The restaurant was very good! The sunset from the pool area was spectacular! The entire team were absolutely fantastic! They made us feel so welcomed and important during our stay. Every staff member was helpful, kind, and available. They went above and beyond several times during our weekend stay. The free breakfast spread was full of amazing options! Everything was delicious! This will be a weekend I will never forget, and I would definitely return. Thank you, Silvia, for making communication possible from the US, prior to our stay with you. It was much appreciated!

    Rustic and Relaxing

    We (US family with teens) enjoyed our stay. After a couple of stops at big city hotels in Italy on our trip, this hotel was a relaxing break. The pool and garden are beautiful, especially at sunset, and the dining terrace was beautiful. The staff may not be as polished as in the cities, but they work very hard and were helpful at every turn. Our rooms on the first floor had roomy terraces screened from the front entrance and adjacent rooms by tall hedges but weren’t totally private. Also, the decor in the rooms had a 1990s vibe and could benefit from a refresh. The bathrooms had very small shower stalls and limited counter space.The gym was a letdown - a windowless room in the basement with one treadmill (broken), one weight machine (broken), and little else. If you want exercise here, go for a run. We enjoyed 5+ miles along the road outside, most of it on paved paths through olive groves and with amazing Tuscan views.

    HOME AWAY FROM HOME

    What a place!!!! This hotel does not feel like a hotel, it is a chance to live in the Tuscan hillside for a few days. It is pure natural beauty surrounded by vineyards as far as you can see. The slight chill in the air at night adds to the coziness of the area. The rooms are pure Italian with tile and stone. We stayed in the SPA category which was bigger than most hotel suites and included a huge steam shower, jacuzzi tub and private terrace.DEFINITELY plan a trip to TENUTA TORCIANO WINERY for a wine tasting and include the option for at least the four courses of food. Don't be shy when it comes to ordering the wine, you will be thankful when you open a bottle once you get back home. It ships quickly and well packaged.
