Location

Housed in a historical, Renaissance-style building at the heart of traditional Florence, this hotel was home to the famous artist, Filipo Brunelleschi, during the Renaissance, who later lent his name to the hotel. The hotel lies in the pedestrianised zone close to the city's famous cathedral.

Facility

The hotel has 9 suites, 23 single rooms and 64 double rooms, which are located on 4 storeys and are reachable by lift. The multilingual staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a TV room.     Brunelleschi Hotel Florence - a hotel to return to.

    We booked to stay at the Hotel Brunelleschi, Florence staying 10th May for 2 nights. It was excellent in so many aspects. Superb location with the Piazza Duormo in very easy walking distance, a great atmosphere in the hotel, the room we were allocated was perfect, very comfortable beds and very quiet and easy access for my wife who has challenging mobility. We ate one evening outside on the terrace of there Osteria Pagliazza - good food and good service throughout the hotel.

    From the moment we arrived, every detail was perfect! The hotel is lovely, in a quiet nook near the Duomo. We loved hearing the bells every morning through our open window! Our connecting rooms were pristine and comfortable, with plenty of hot water and towels, and turndown service with chocolates. The housekeeping staff was so personable , kept us well supplied with bottles of water while also keeping our rooms immaculate. The porters ( hello, Samuel!), concierge, and front desk staff greeted us daily with warmth and patience, and were so helpful (especially after my husband lost his cellphone!) I cannot think of a nicer experience we have ever had in a hotel…perfection!! We would love to return!!

    The Brunelleschi is a wonderful hotel. To be sure, the location makes it fantastic. But it is so much more than that. It is an amazing building and our room, a suite, was perfect. But what really made it special was the phenomenal, warm and welcoming service — from the food service to the cleaning to the reception personnel and with special recognition to the best concierge service you will ever find, the Brunelleschi will give you an experience that is both exciting and relaxing, professional and so very friendly.     This was our third stay at the Brunelleschi Hotel - we love coming back here.The hotel is an oasis of calm and refined elegance in the centre of the town. It is perfectly situated for easily visiting all the sights of Florence , and is very close to the Duomo.Rooms are very well equipped , breakfast is delicious, as are meals in the adjoining restaurant. It is the staff who make this hotel extra special. The girls who clean the rooms, ( to the highest quality), the reception staff , the waiters and the concierges are all exemplary. Nothing is too much trouble .Several of the staff have been here each time we have stayed here, and we regard them as friends. We will return again!
