Location

This hotel is located in the suburbs of Careggi. The historical centre as well as the convention centres of Florence can be easily reached with bus connections.     *Thieves! they Stole $275.00 USD through my Credit card that was placed on File! from me. They will Not respond to Booking.com or answer their phones. i have never experienced being robbed in a hotel or room stay but these people stole $275.00 from me on April 26th. 2024

    This hotel was the catfish of all hotels. It looks nothing like the photos on trip advisor or booking.com. We have travelled around both Italy and Spain for long periods and therefore our expectations of budget hotels are quite realistically. However this really was disappointing. The air conditioning was non-existent and hotel staff were a little unpleasant when we mentioned that it did not work, it was suggested by them and the paperwork in the room that it wasn’t working because of us! It clearly hasn’t worked in years. The smell in the corridors is hideous - if smelt like cigarettes and unclean linen. The cleaners were hovering outside our room at 8am which seemed unnecessary given the state of the corridor carpets. I woke up at 7am because the noise from next doors bathroom sounded like someone was taking a shower in my room. The breakfast vending machines don’t even deserve words. You are much better off going to a local cafe. In fact you are better staying at a hostel than this hotel. Would not return here…! This was one of the most expensive hotels on our trip and was definitely the worst.

    for its price it was okay. Its really close to the tram which you can take to the city center. The shower pressure was barely there and the sink was clogged. AC took forever to change the room temperature. A small nice and simple terrace for smokers, staff was very kind to check my room because i had a feeling i left my hair straightener turned on and they also cleaned the room (we stayed 2 nights so i didnt expect cleaning).

    I don't like online ratings because I feel like most people forget what is most important about a rating: your expectations!If you expect a 5 star hotel with modern interior design and a flawless room, you'll hate it and rate it 1 star. But if you actually read before booking you'll see that it's a pretty simplistic and old hotel that isn't meant to host George Clooney and lottery winner alone.The check-in was simple, the price was okay, the room was clean. Basta. That's what I pay 35 (!) euros for, that's okay. That's why I'll give 5 stars.

    The rooms are clean and organizedThe issue is: nothing works, I tried to connect to wi Fi and it kept disconnecting, I asked the crew and they simply told me there was no connection in the rooms and I would have to stay in the hall if I wanted to use it The air conditioning control was also broken and I had to learn how to turn on the lights because they're all broken These are basic things is not too much to askAnd there's also no breakfast even though the site says it includes breakfast
