    My name is Dolores Portela, I live in the United States and I travel to Italy frequently. I stayed at the Cosmopolitan hotel in Florence from May 20, 2025, with my son. The reservation until the 26th. The breakfast was very good and varied with a buffet. Very good location. The room is equipped with everything needed and the linen is very clean. The front desk staff is very friendly and polite; but unfortunately, since the second day I couldn't sleep due to shortness of breath, because of the large amount of dust on the headboard, the window curtains, and the corners of the room. I left the hotel a day early because I got sick, I was very short of breath. Sadly, the front desk staff were not as courteous or fair at the moment I left the hotel. They told me in the harshest way that I had to pay the taxes (which is known), I have photos and videos that I showed at the time I reported the situation on the second day of being at the mentioned hotel.

    We stayed here for one night on arrival in Florence. Welcomed by friendly staff member and shown to our room, which was very clean and comfortable especially the bed. Good size room with lovely toiletries provided. Breakfast was very nice with a good choice.

    I had the nicest stuff when I was arriving at the hotel. Very kind & helpful.When we had breakfast the lady with the black hair shattered all the nice experience. Such an arrogant & uninterested behavior. Attacking guests verbally & having such a bad and negative mood. She is the reason why we will not come back! I will enjoy my breakfast somewhere else. But hotel all in all nice & staff (with this catastrophic woman) nice:)

    This hotel is conveniently located near the airport; we selected it because we had an early flight and needed to turn in a car. It is modern and clear. The room was comfortable and quiet and the bed was nice. There is no food service and the neighborhood is residential versus touristy.

    I've never seen such an unreasonable and rude hotel before. Yesterday, I received a call that I could not get a refund even though I couldn't stay because my flight was not able to fly due to the paralysis of the entire European system. As soon as the flight cancellation was confirmed, I sent an e-mail requesting a refund to Tripbtoz and contacted the hotel, but it was not connected. The very next day, I talked about the situation, but I received a short answer that it was not possible at once.Tripbtoz called twice and I also emailed specifically to request politely, but their strange answer was that it was already processed as a no-show and it was difficult to reverse. Because of this hotel, I strongly felt that I never want to travel to Europe again. The image that Italy is really an unfriendly and rude place was created. I have no fault at all, but in this case, I would like to ask the hotel about how international travelers can contact the hotel immediately.
