    This is an excellent hotel! Centrally located sure, but mostly excellent because it is exceptionally clean and well maintained and the service at the front desk and in the breakfast/happy hour room are exceptional. The room was somewhat small for a "superior double" but very well laid out, and the air conditioning and bathroom worked well. Leonardo and Angelo at the desk were constantly greeting us and offering to help with arrangements. The breakfast staff is very welcoming and the food is very fresh and varied. They actually have drip coffee, which no doubt is to satisfy American tastes but is much appreciated. We would definitely stay there again if we return to Florence.

    Great location, loved the hotel, and the customer service was off the charts, which is not the norm these days. Cosmin went above and beyond to really take care of us on our first trip to Florence. I also watched how well he took care of another family that had their flight cancelled.

    I recently spent one night at the Hotel Davanzati and this was my second time staying at this lovely hotel. Yes, you have to be able to walk up some stairs to get there. But, the staff would be happy to help! The staff is so friendly and helpful. The rooms are roomy and the beds are very comfortable. They have complimentary wine in the late afternoon and a generous breakfast buffet. The location is absolutely fantastic! You will be just minutes away from all the sights in central Florence. I would be so happy to stay there a third time!

    We loved our stay! This hotel is very central to many sights. The staff were so helpful and pleasant. Thank you Leonardo for keeping the jelly dish full at the front desk. Our room was clean and comfortable. We appreciated the afternoon tea time and the evening socials. There are stairs but the staff are more than willing to help with luggage as needed.We would definitely stay here again.Thank you to all the staff.
