    We have been using this hotel for many years now and have always been extremely pleased with the service we have received both from the friendly and efficient staff and the comfortable rooms stayed in. We recently got married in Florence and, of course, stayed at our favourite hotel and much to our delight we were upgraded to a suite which was beautiful. Can’t recommend this hotel enough.

    Historic Hotel in the heart of old Florence

    Stayed for a week in this beautiful historic hotel in the heart of Florence. Easy walk to restaurants, shopping and attractions including the Academia, Duomo, Uffizi Gallery, Pitti Palace,the Ponte Vecchio and train station.We had a suite overlooking the street and it was spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable and we slept well with no noise from the street.An issue with the air-conditioning was dealt with promptly. All staff were friendly, efficient and helpful at all times. Breakfast was very good.We would highly recommend this hotel for location, great staff and a wonderful atmosphere.

    My husband and I went to Florence, Italy for his bbirthday getaway. We stayed at Hotel De La Ville and to be honest it exceeded our expectations.Our suite was ready well before the usual check-in time, and the hotel team kindly let us check in early without us even asking! It might seem like a small thing, but for us it was a very thoughful and considerate gesture.The junior suite room was spacious and elegant with a perfect mix of classic charm and modern comfort. Even the bathroom was spotlessly clean,The buffet breakfast was incredible! There was plenty to choose from like fresh pastries, fruits, Italian specialties, and even made-to-order dishes. It was a hearty treat to start to our mornings before heading out to explore Florence.What stood out the most, though, were the hotel staff. Everyone we met was genuinely kind, welcoming.They made us feel like valued guests every single day.So glad we booked here as it was well worth it!Hotel De La Ville didn’t just meet our expectations it surpassed them. If you’re planning a trip to Florence, we highly recommend this place.
