Strategic location. ..walking distance to most places of interest. Mirko, Asha and all staff were absolutely helpful. What ever support we needed was promptly attended to. Rooms were spacious. Good breakfast. The operation of the old fashioned lift had to be figured out.

The stuff is really nice and the breakfast has good selections of sweets and salty food, good coffee and the young lady in charge is super-nice and always with smile. But the room are ok nothing special, beds are not soft and the pillows are really low…the bathroom is small . It is in a good location near the train station and not far from the center.

I needed to remotely book a room for my 19-year old daughter and her 2 friends for one night in Florence. They have been studying art conservation in the town of Amelia and wanted to spend the weekend in Florence. None had been to Florence and they were inexperienced traveling alone in Italy. I booked them at Hotel Desiree because it was located by the train station and in the heart of the city. I contacted the staff in advance and they were very accommodating to the situation. My daughter and her friends had a great experience! All the staff were nice and helpful to them, the room was perfect, the breakfast was great and they loved the ambiance. I highly recommend and wish to especially acknowledge Mirko in particular for his kind attention to insuring all went well!

Nice Experience in the centre of Florence being back at the Desirèe in October 24 with my family.Room was very cleaned with two huge windows where i could see the city.Super breakfast with a selection of Crossaints and cakes, the staff also was a plus very polite and professional.I can reccomend again it!

Again in Desiree as every year, we found the hotel always better that year before.Very nice staff, lovely breakfast and refreshed super cleaned rooms.Check in and check out very fast without any nproblemsVery happy to come back here :-)Hope that i can come again soon
