    Romantic hotel

    Nice hotel, in front of a public garden. Staff and reception were friendly. Our room was overlooking the internal yard, with a balcony and also TV, desk and mini fridge, and room was cleaned daily. Soap and towels were provided. Reception can reserve taxi for places you want to visit. Possibility to leave luggage after check-out. Breakfast was good. One can have breakfast outdoor in the yard. No pool. Lift to go upper floors.

    Bed bugs and gaslighting

    Beware BED BUGS. We stayed here one night and woke up with bites all over our bodies. My husband had bites all over his arms, face, back and chest. When we woke up there was little blood splatters on the sheets and a dead bed bug in the blood. We also found the little bed bug shell they shed under the sheets. The hotel tried to tell us it was from mosquitoes, but unless we were staying in a swamp and a swarm came in and then left, there’s no way. My husband had over 100 bites on him. We also got mosquito bites later in the trip and they look nothing like these bites. Also we’ve had mosquito bites before this trip and it’s definitely NOT the same. The hotel just kept saying it’s mosquitoes and reluctantly moved us to a new room. But the new rooms sheet had dried blood splatter as if someone else had bed bugs already, they washed the sheet and just put it back on. It was disgusting. I also found a couple dead bugs in the closet of the second room. We left and stayed at another hotel.

    This is unique hotel with a lot of antique furniture and art, if you’re someone into it you’ll love it. I’ve seen alot of bad reviews about this hotel but my experience was great, the staffs were helpful and very friendly. The hotel was very clean to be honest. The made me coffee every morning even when I was late for breakfast on the first day. It was a good stay overall. Ms Angela and Ms Antonella was amazing to me, kudos to them.

    Went with a school group of 30 or so people. Our group was split up into rooms of four far apart and difficult to get to each other. The walls,doors, floors, and ceilings were thin to the point of you can hear people having conversations above you and below you. And if you have a window open your neighbors can hear the sound from outside your room. The hotel also stacked our noise complaints as a group so if one room got a noise complaint so did all 30 people. The blankets and bed sheets smelt of urine including the ones in the closet. Mosquitos ate us alive because the ac didn’t work and the room got stuffy quickly which ment the window had to be open. My roomate found a pube in her bed the first night. You only get 1 card per room and there is no identification to gain that card back when you leave it at the desk for the day. You simply say the number and they give it to you. It’s the same with the skeleton key which unlocks EVERY ROOM IN THE BUILDING. That is highly dangerous. This hotel is in a bad part of town which we know because a receptionist straight up told one of the students. And confirmed with our group being repeatedly stalked, chased, and harassed by men at night going back to the hotel. This harassment was directed towards both men and women of the group. Staff was rude/unhelpful towards some of us. Racist sculptures in the lobby.
