    The noisiest hotel is have ever stayed in. Doors banging at 2-3am. Shouting. People moving around. Can also hear showers and toilets in other rooms. Beds were clean and comfortable. Shower cubicle so small couldn't turn around. Shower didn't work great, curtains well worn and very dated furniture. Breakfast was OK although no choice for fruits or salads. Nice coffee and good selection of various croissant. Ideally situated for train into florence.

    Doors do not lock from the inside of room. I felt unsafe. Showers plumbing did not work as water did not train and collected around my ancles. NO HEAT at night and NO AC. Dusty and Dirt and Stains were smeared on walls... I hate to image what type of bodily fluids were on walls. Bugs were between the sheets as well. When I've gone to complain about the the room Minutes after entering, the young lady at front desk called a "manager" and described me as a Nigga (which is a racist slur)! Since I traveled solo (fall 2023), I bit the bullet and stayed over night before switching to a 4 star Hotel within Florence who staff treated me with the uttermost respect!

    Mixed Bag - Great Location but Old Hotel

    This hotel is somewhat of a mixed bag. The best thing about it is the location, literally 2 minutes walking distance to the train station, with at least hourly trains to the heart of Florence only taking 20 mins. Signa itself is not remarkable, but you can find good cheap food. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is very very dated. Not sure how it still has a 4 star category (maybe left over from 40 years ago). The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, but the place smells old and appliances are very old. Breakfast was fine. It seems that they are very focused on big coach travel groups.

    An super old hotel, the tab water was so red and yellow, toilet water was yellow, cannot challenge to take a shower. Doubt if they had ever check the pipes.The air conditioning was not working, although it sounded as loud as a train, only cold air came out. We suffered a cold night, the reception refused offer even two blankets.Wall and ceiling is yellow, charger is broken, shower place is super small, bedding is only sheets and a thin blanket in a 0 degree winter night...Unbelievable, be careful to book unless you want to catch a cold like us !
