    Very poor hotel

    I am still staying at the hotel as a write this review, and I am struggling to finish my 2nd night out of 3 nights we have booked. First off, the front desk would not press my and my boyfriend’s suits. When I asked on a Saturday if we could have our suits pressed by Monday for a wedding, they said no. ( mind you the baglioni is where everyone in the wedding was staying) Laundry doesn’t operate Sunday and Monday would be too late they said. They suggested I take it down the street to get pressed. (I think at a 4 stay hotel they should take it down the street for me) It doesn’t end there. The beds, linens, and the size of the rooms are horrible. Not to mention the air was on full blast and I still woke up sweating. One couple from the wedding walked into their room and walked right out and booked an Airbnb. I was strongly considering checking out the first night and going across the street to the W hotel, my only regret is that didnt.     Great location, beautiful hotel

    We visited this hotel as a family trip to Florence. 3 of us stayed in a very comfy family room. We requested 3 single beds and they were very accomodating. We felt the floor space was too small for the 3 single beds (1 was a sofa bed).In the bathroom it had a strange step on the shower and a biday, which was both unnecessary. Regardless the bathroom was very beautiful. We had bed and breakfast, there was a great lay out of breakfast, however anything outside of what was on offer, we were charged for. The views from the hotel are incredible.Fantastic location. Hotel rooms were not cold and there was a thermostat to regulate your own temperature. Windows are sounds proof, which helps as the hotel is a great central location, everything is 10-15min walk. Photos might look dark and old fashioned but actually it has a royal feel to the building, and is very clean. Lifts are very small and creaky!     deadly shower

    not sure how this hotel is rated high. First, the absolute worst shower I ever experienced. How to describe how useless and dangerous. Room was small and poorly lite. WiFi was good however. To add insult to injury when I checked out I was given the receipt in Euros (as I told the desk) and when my credit card bill came it was in dollars ($25 more per nite). Old and not really updated hotel.
