    While the room was quiet at night for sleeping, and Dario at the reception desk was very helpful, the price was closer to what we paid for our 4 star hotel in Rome. It had a beautiful room, full made to order breakfast, terrace and common areas and great staff.At Guest House, there was no breakfast or even a coffee machine in our room at the Guest house and the lobby coffee machine was out for repairs. Our room was adequate but nothing special. Would choose a different hotel for the price next time in Florence.

    I stayed here for 4 nights in Florence. The room was so nice. A full bathroom, a little closet area, comfy bed & even a little balcony. The location was great, on a quiet street but also just a few minutes walk to all the things you want to see. They have an elevator for your luggage which is AWESOME. The manager/owner (I’m not sure which!) is lovely. His name is Dario and he’s happy to help with anything you need. He had a day off but still ordered a taxi to be ready to take me back to the train station. Would definitely recommend this lovely little hotel next time you’re in Florence!

    Our stay at the House Morandi was perfect for our needs. The room was beautiful, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient to many places we wanted to visit.

    We are a couple in our 70's having our dream trip to Italy. We spent 4 days at Guest House Morandi and highly recommend it! Their staff was most helpful and responsive and it was centrally located so we could walk to most of our destinations!

    I booked this place mainly for the location near the museums particularly "David" which is less than ten minutes walk. Know however this is no longer a hotel but a guest house with limited staffing and no breakfast. They do not open until 9 am which caused us a problem since we were counting on them to store our bags on early morning arrival. They give you a code to open all doors so you can come and go at will without human contact. Our room was ok, clean and quiet but nothing special. It is not a particularly good value but again the location is the selling point. Would not stay there again but consider it if you need to be close to the action
