  Convenient location near Florence Station

  Booked this hotel without much choice as Agoda has the advanced payment ticked during my checkout. Do pay attention when checking out :-(Pros: The hotel location is very central. Right in the heart of the historical center. Breakfast is included and very good spread. Staff is very strict with the mask on policy. When stepped in to the breakfast room, mask must be put on and we are expected to use provided gloves to get our food from the fridge. Staff service is very polite and helpful. We booked double room which is quite big. Cons: the hotel is quite dated. the walls between rooms are very thin. our bathroom fan is very noisy. We were told to switch off light when not using the bathroom as next door guest are complaining. Another issue with the hotel is there's no holder in the shower area to place shampoo and soap which is very unusual. We have to leave our bathing stuffs on the floor.Overall for the location and cleanliness, hotel still recommendable.

  Wonderful place to stay

  We had a deluxe room which was actally next door at Mia Cara hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfasts great and conveniently early if needed, and had the ability to do laundry and drink espresso any time. Staff was friendly and helpful.

  just few minutes from the center

  We were trying to find an good balance of costs and distance to the historic center in Firenze. Mia Cara hotel seems to be a really good choice. At hotel booking portal it was offer at a price of 110-120 per one night for a couple. Just slightly closer to the center and the costs go double. It's really just few minutes of walking to all the key monuments here. The hotel is marked as three stars but I find the room nice and comfortable. For business purposes I've been to other hotela declaring 4 starts but their rooms were worse than what we have here.

  Great place to stay

  We really enjoyed our stay here. Nice and clean accommodation with a lovely spread of breakfast. Staff are very friendly. It is also very close to train station, museums, various attractions, restaurants and shopping areas. Highly recommended.

  Security issues

  My friends and I stayed here during December 2015. The place was very nice, with an excellent breakfast and a friendly staff. However on our last day our pleasant experience had a poor ending when two pieces of our luggage were stolen. We had left them that day in the lobby, where we were assured they'd be safe while we went around Florence. To our surprise when we returned 2 of our 6 pieces were missing. When watching the security tape it was clear they were both taken by a man who casually walked in and had no trouble stealing them. Although the staff was very helpful we definitely lost a lot and it was a great inconvenience. This huge security failure in the end overshadowed the more positive aspects of our stay here.
