This hotel is located directly in the centre of Florence. A privileged located, the hotel is close to the Cathedral, Dante's House and the train station, and is surrounded by luxurious shopping streets in the heart of the shopping district. Duomo Square and the business centre are just a stone's throw from the hotel. The train station and the congress centre can be reached within 5 minutes.

Facility

The hotel was built in 1600. A suite, 6 single rooms and 77 double rooms are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities.     we just completed our yearly visit to this great hotel on our way to my sister and family's 500 acre farm south of florence.we stay here due to its closeness to both the train station and the duomo.     Excellent location: everything is within walking distance, including the cathedral, shopping streets, restaurants, bars, and the train station (about a 7-minute walk). The hotel also feels safe, with good security in place. The front office gentlemen were friendly, helpful, and customer-focused.Unfortunately, my stay was overshadowed by a very negative check-in experience. A female front desk staff member questioned my legitimacy in an unnecessarily distrustful and unprofessional manner, despite me providing all required documents, including my credit card. The booking was under my husband’s name and was eventually verified, but the way this was handled was disappointing.This made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable, especially as I was traveling alone. I have never experienced this level of distrust at a hotel before. It significantly impacted my overall impression of the stay.
