    A Pleasant Stay

    This hotel is well situated to explore the delights of Florence and only a five minute walk from the main train station. It is clean, rooms are spacious and comfortable, and there is a good lounge area in which to relax. It lies on the junction of a relatively busy road and an outdoor market, which was operating on each day of our 3-day stay, so outside noise can be a factor in the bedrooms, although we managed to sleep comfortably on 2 out of 3 nights. The staff are extremely welcoming and helpful.Two downsides. The hotel bar was closed throughout our stay. We were given a free bottle of Chianti ( compensation for the bar closure?) in the room, which was a thoughtful gesture. The breakfast was a little disappointing. Not much in the way of cooked options ( scrambled egg only), and a limited amount of fruit.Overall, however, this was a good hotel, ideally situated to access all that this magical city has to offer.

    I chose this hotel purely for its location and proximity to many of the main sights in Florence city centre. The room was comfortable and clean for 1 person on a solo trip and was serviced daily by house keeping, although the rooms could maybe benefit from some updating/modernisation. The hotel is in a very lively area of Florence but the noise level was not an issue in the room. Reception staff were very helpful throughout the visit and let me check in early when I arrived as the room was ready for check-in which was a real benefit after arriving on an early flight. Overall very good value for money for a clean and comfortable room chosen mainly for the location and proximity to Florence.

    Florence leg of a Riviera tour

    Travelled with Riviera Travel & stayed here for 3 nights. Very central & easy walking to all of the main attractions. Plenty of places to eat within a few minutes of the hotel. Large room but in need of some much needed TLC. No view at all from our window, but it is a city centre hotel so not surprised. Despite its location we were not disturbed by any outside noise. Staff on reception were very attentive & keen to help.Good continental breakfast. Would recommend for a city break.

    Uncompassionate and uncooperative—beware.

    I had to cancel my trip due to a serious health issue and provided medical documentation well in advance. I reached out with a heartfelt message explaining my situation, but the hotel responded with a generic refusal. Expedia also tried to help, but the hotel declined to make any exceptions.This wasn’t a last-minute cancellation, and the refusal felt less about policy and more about a lack of basic compassion. I strongly suspect they resold the room, effectively doubling their profit while refusing to support a customer in need.This experience reflects a troubling lack of care and integrity, it was disheartening and unprofessional. I would not recommend booking with this property.

    This was a business trip and we wanted to be close to the Palazzo dei Congressi. It was walking distance. We reserved a triple room online for four days with a discount and free cancellation rate. The hotel charged ‘pre-authorization’ fee to our credit card 10 days before our arrival. This was without notice. Upon arrival they justify this transaction with a cancellation of the pre authorization fee. The first three nights were discounted but the fourth was overpriced. In average we did not get a discount for the stay. The room was not at all as those shown online in their website. The walls and furniture were off white without decor, no pictures in the wall, no flowers, the electrical outlets were lose, the door was hard to open and close, the TV remote control did not work, one of the flush button of the toilets did not work. Overall it is not recommended.
