    Horrible place!

    rating30 Apr 2024

This hotel is the worst I had ever stayed in Europe. It is hot summer time and the “air-conditioning” is literally non-existent. A little cold air comes out for mere 1min and the rest is air probably hotter than the air outside. Drenched in perspiration after shower and middle of the night. Don’t even try to open the windows, the mosquitoes will feed on you. Plus, its hot air outside too. We went to the car to enjoy 10 minutes of aircon at 11pm else we can’t sleep at all!Room and bathroom looks straight out from 70’s movie set. Bathroom tiles are cracked and the shower door is ripped off. Water flow has intermittent strength. Carpet looks very old and dirty. Bed is extremely uncomfortable, springs are already popping up. Bed topper sheet looks unwashed for long time, extremely dusty. Poor lighting in room and bathroom. There is only 1 usable electric plug in room, not next to bed but near the floor outside the bathroom. Unless u can move the super heavy room table, there is electric plug there for the TV. Also in the toilet there is a plug but it gets super humid in there (no window no vent).Breakfast is bread, croissants and danishes etc. Do not expect hot food like eggs and sausages. Staff didn’t care about a fly buzzing around the food.Staff is ok. Housekeeping ladies are the best, I actually pity them having to work there. If you return after 8pm, no proper car park lots left.To the owner: Please put some money to upgrade and maintain this hotel. Once the hotel opposite is done with renovation that will be where the customers will go. You’ll need to pay me to stay in i-Ciliegi!

    Try to Avoid

Opened in 1984 and no renovation till date. It's a Motel now. May be good for Truckers. Rooms are having dirty Blankets. AC is a Vintage showpiece, difficult to set temperature. Breakfast is just OK. Groups are opting this hotel for 1 night to save money.

    Worst experience ever

    rating12 Jun 2016

Tiny rooms with even tinier bathrooms. Horrible experience. This was the worst hotels we had to stay in during our trip. The lifts are so tiny. The place seemed more like a hostel for high school students. Breakfast served was equally bad. Staff was so rude upon seeing a little bit of hot chocolate that spilled on the machine tray. Not my recommendation.

    Heartbreak hotel

    rating13 Sept 2014

he main reason I stayed in this hotel was because it is located just next to the motorway exit, near the "famous" outlet The Mall. We we were planning to visit the outlet, but we decided to skip it, since we already visited it several times, we arrived late in the afternoon and the weather was coldish, rainy and depressing.Having no reason left to stay in Reggello, we found we had chosen the wrong hotel. The room, like the whole hotel, looks old and worn. The wardrobe was badly assembled and the room was bare of amenities. The bathroom had cracked tiles on the floor, the flush for the toilet was a dusty plastic board, stuck half way to the ceiling (never saw one of those before) and also near breaking up. Finally, the faucet of the tap leaked. At least, we had hot water...However, if you suffer from insomnia, the proximity of the motorway may help you falling asleep counting cars entering and exiting the motorway. Then a bus full of noisy oriental tourists arrived, presumably coming back from the mall. The group disembarked blabbering loudly. This further added to our discomfort. Breakfast was included, but we waited for the bus to depart before we ventured to the restaurant. It never stopped raining for our entire stay, adding to the melancholic feeling of a wasted day. I felt sorry for the staff, as they were polite and friendly.

Avoid at all costs! Photos are absolutely not representative of rooms

    rating01 Oct 2012

I had the absolute misfortune to stay here two nights ago while on a group tour. The hotel lobby looked nice, homely. The lift was tiny as expected. But nothing prepared me for the dismal state of the rooms! The door was difficulty to open and from the state of the door frame I guess the previous occupants had the same problem. The carpet was threadbare, and absolutely grey! I dunno if it was due to the state of uncleaniless or the original colour. The room was tiny and the furniture looked like it was used since 1970s. there is even a picture of an antique fan to add to the datedness. When I took my shoes off I immediately put them in again because the carpet felt so filthy! 4 stars my foot! This is a 2 star motel and nothing else! Never come here if u can help it!
