  The hotel is a very short walk from the train station so the location is perfect. The hotel staff were amazing - always very friendly and helpful. The 24 hour reception is a blessing and they had great advice about where to go, The room was clean, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the shower/bathroom had recently been fitted and was just great. Despite being so central it was quiet at night. Considering what I paid this is an absolute bargain and when I return to Florence I will definitely be staying here again!

  It was a little hard to find because the sign on the street was for another hotel and it turned out check-in for Marine was also in the lobby of the other hotel. I arrived early but was able to check in in about 30 minutes. In the lobby they played classical music and there were photos of jazz musicians on the wall, so it was a good atmosphere. The room didn't have so much atmosphere but it worked fine for me. The location was convenient, being close to the train station.

  No hot water

  The first night we arrived, I had to shower in cold water and it was minus 1 deg outside... The heater in room was also not working properly. Crazy cold. They came up to take a look and fixed the water issue but second night was the same problem all over again. Hot water only came after midnight. At least the beds were clean and the staff were super nice. But probably not a v good choice fr winters.

  No elevator and a bit noisy

  I stayed three nights at Hotel Marine in Firenze, Italy in March 2019. There were two things that made me give 3 stars: one was the lack of an elevator (remember, some of us are travelling through Europe and carrying a suitcase) and the other issue was noise, there is nobody from the hotel to supervise the noise level of guests who walking on the corridors (I woke up many nights with people talking loud and laughing). I went solo but yet they gave me a big comfortable bed. The bathroom was large and clean. Room had a small fridge which was nice. Location couldn't be better.

  Amazing place to stay and visit Florence, no doubts!

  We have an amazing experience! Everything went so well, everybody is so approachable, friendly and professional. We did our check-in with Carolina, she is very nice and helpful. We also had the opportunity to meet Tomazzo and his father, these guys are such an amazing people, I had the opportunity to spend some time talking with Tomazzo who is also a musician, like me. Great conversation. We were looking for extra days of staying, and the guys were so helpful with us to take it. Everybody is so nice from the reception to the kitchen with us, specially with our baby, we felt like home. And we are already missing those guys. The Hotel is just a few minutes from the all sites to visit, perfect because you can find anything nearby, I mean restaurant, pizzeria, tratoria, souvenires stores and so. The place is amazing, well located, very cozy and very beautiful. The bedroom is awesome, the bed and the shower are super good! The breakfast... omg, the breakfast is amazing! With dozens of options food even for babies. We really loved to be there and I’m sure we couldn’t found a better place to stay! We’ll back, absolutely we will. We DO recommend this place!
