Quiet room with king bed near train station and cathedral

The hotel was fine, but we had an issue with the bathtub leaking after using the shower. Otherwise, the bathroom was clean and updated. The room overlooked an interior courtyard with exterior shutters that let in basically no light. The high ceilings and parquet floors in the room were nice. The carpet runners on the hallway stairs were dirty.

What a perfect find. Hotel is less that a 10 minute walk to the train station. Less that 15- minutes to everything in the city center. This was a perfect home base to explore Florence. The room was very comfortable. The service was fine. The front desk personnel were friendly and great with recommendations. Food options in the area were numerous and good. The hotel breakfast was excellent.Would absolutely stay here again

Cozy, great location between train station and the Duomo, very clean. We only stayed one night, but loved it. Excellent breakfast, too! The interior looks like the set from an old movie about a hotel in Italy…

We spent one night here on our way to a family wedding in the Tuscany hills.You are right in central Florence in an incredibly old building. Rooms are spacious, location fab, breakfast amazing. What more can you ask for. It’s an older building with lots of character and a genuine Italian feel.You have breakfast in an old ball room stay room with a huge chandelier, it was such a joyful experience.I will be back in law season to explore more of Florence when it’s cooler. His is from a Scottish person who is not used to the August heat lol.

Royal-feel superior triple room in the best location

Stayed 3 nights in a Superior Triple room (one of a kind in this hotel) - feels like you are from Medici family, really, so royal-ish!! Amazing decor. A bit dated though and does not feel 100% clean - the comforter on the bed and drapes - all need some deep cleaning or just changing. I mean it looks amazing, but needs to be updated. This was our most royal room out of 3 weeks in Italy. Breakfast was nice. Liked the decor in the whole hotel - very Medici time-like. Bathroom was very small though. The room itself was huge. A bit noisy, but you are in the center of all, what do you expect. It's just the windows - they are not modern, they are old-fashioned and not very sound-proof. I loved the location - 1 -2 min to Duomo, close to everything. Nice breakfast.
