Location

The hotel is located south of the historical centre and it is built directly on the bank of the Arno River, immersed in the nature and in a quiet atmosphere. It is easily reachable from the exit Firenze Sud of the highway A1 and situated 10 minutes' drive (around 4 km) away from the city centre. Florence Airport is around 12 km away and Pisa Airport is around 90 km from the hotel.

Facility

37 non-smoking rooms, including 4 single rooms and 32 double rooms, are located on 2 storeys and can be reached by lift. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service (for a fee), a laundry service and a hotel shuttle bus. A bicycle hire service gives guests the opportunity to explore the surrounding area independently. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Rooms have a double bed or a queen-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a whirlpool bath. A hairdryer and bathrobes are provided. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. A terrace with sun loungers and parasols is available. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. For those who wish to stay active while on holiday, the hotel offers cycling/mountain biking. There is a wellness area with a range of services, including a spa, a hammam and a solarium. In addition, a sauna, a steam bath and massage treatments are available for a fee.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a dining room, a breakfast room, a café and a bar. Guests can enjoy the culinary delights of the non-smoking, air-conditioned restaurant, which provides high chairs for children. Catering options include bed and breakfast and half board. A continental breakfast buffet ensures a great start to the day. At dinner, guests order their favourite dishes à la carte.     Perfect hotel for a relaxing Florence City break

    We have just come back for our 10 year wedding anniversary after staying here for our honeymoon. Cannot recommend enough, absolutely first class. Staff are amazing, facilities are great, views are stunning and the location is perfect. We won't be leaving it another 10 years before returning, thats for sure!!     A fantastic hotel. A hidden gem not to be missed

    I can not recommend this place highly enough. The hotel itself is stunning. It is set in a beautiful location just outside of Florence with stunning grounds and fantastic facilities. There is a brilliant restaurant and bar on sight as well as a spa which you can have exclusive use of for one hour per day. There is a pool outside with the more beautiful views. The staff are what really make this place special though. The staff really could not do enough to help you. From wine recommendations to organising our transfer back to Pisa airport they really did go above and beyond. I can not thank them enough. The small details the hotel added to our stay was so lovely. For Easter we were gifted a lovely bag of chocolate eggs and they noticed we were having wine in the room in the evening so kindly left up two wine glasses. So thoughtful. The rooms were fantastic. There is a good amount of space in the room with a wardrobe with a safe which was free to use, a desk and a large comfortable bag. The bathroom was large with a lovely shower and good amenities. The view from the room was spectacular and so lovely to wake up to each morning. The hotel is slightly out of the centre but the hotel did run a shuttle bus which went to just outside the centre for 1 Euro 50 cents. Such great value. Taxi's are ok to grab in the centre and the hotel called them for us in the morning. The cost was about 30 Euro to get in. Uber does not work so this is something to bare in mind. There are local apps for Taxi's but not that easy to use. It was easy to use the taxi ranks in the city though. The facilities of the hotel and the incredible staff made this hotel a really hidden gem. I will defiantly be returning and I would highly recommend to anyone for a relaxing stay in Florence.

    Beautiful hotel and room (I had #204 “a river-view room” and possibly the best one) located in what became my favorite area of Florence. Slightly out of the way but worth it. The river is amazing - the water contacts one of the hotel walls. Friendly and professional staff. Easily the best place I stayed in during my Italy trip. I could come back just to spend a week in the room.

    Amazing Italian Hospitality

    The hospitality was exceptional. We brought our 1 year old on his first trip abroad and they made us feel like family. The property was spectacular and immaculately maintained. We enjoyed walking around the grounds taking in its beauty. The location was great if you intend to rent a car and stay right outside the ztl. Every person in the staff in every position were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We were so happy to see that they enjoyed our toddler staying there as well. We had a couple of nights where our toddler was not feeling well, so we ordered room service from the restaurant and it was amazing. We can't wait to return and we are thankful for the memories.

    We had a very enjoyable stay. Our room was very nice overlooking the river. We ate every night at the restaurant, fantastic food with Iliana advising perfectly. We look forward to returning.
