    Beautiful quiet hotel in the middle of the action

    We stayed here for two nights and it was a great location right off the Piazza and walking distance to all the main attractions. It’s a lot of steps up to the rooms, but they do have a small elevator. The staff was super helpful, welcoming and friendly. Great morning breakfast served family style. They were very accommodating as we had an early flight out and they were up making us coffee and assuring our taxi came. Beautiful room and bath with great history! Even though it was just off the Piazza, we never felt it was loud. Stay here!

    Staying here is an experience like no other! This intimate yet elegant hotel, in a building centuries old, let you feel what it must’ve been like to live in Florence during the Renaissance, but with better plumbing and air conditioning. The owners are usually on site and take exceptional care in the quality of their rooms and the experience of their guests. And you can’t ask for a better location when staying in Florence

    An incredible Stay in Firenze that truly felt like home!

    I have never felt so at home in a place, and so quickly. It's hard to put the feelings and experience I had there into words. Their approach and philosophy is quite simple but makes all the difference - the Pini family wanted to create a place that made people feel at home instantly. From the tiny details and decorations (which they took great care to design and renovate personally), to the communal breakfast table and complimentary bar - even the other guests (most of them repeat customers) make you feel as comfortable as you would be in your own home. So much so...I actually had trouble leaving the premise because I was having such a great time hanging around with everyone inside! The owners (who are almost always there) are seriously some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Also...the rooms are GORGEOUS. Tastefully done in true Florentine style, each one uniquely different and named after some very special figures. The hotel is also centrally located - as in steps from the Uffizi Gallery but tucked far enough away that it serves as peaceful resprite. I cannot recommend this place enough to anyway visiting Florence and I personally cannot wait until the day I can return! Thank you Umberto, Matteo and Giulio from the bottom of my heart.

    Absolutely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in in Europe. The building has historic roots and one of the frescoes is visible. I was greeted by the wonderful Sebastian, who showed me to my gorgeous room overlooking the Piazza della Signoria. No noise, by the way. The windows are 100% soundproof. Everything was first class: the linens, toiletries, furnishings. The breakfast made you feel like royalty. So much choice and elegance. There is also a full bar and cold drinks for guests. I wish I could have stayed longer. It’s the kind of place that is special. Take note of the address. There is no sign, just the name on the metal buzzer plaque.
