  One of the best stays in a hotel we have had. Great location, close to the railway station and a 10/15 minute walk to the centre. The staff were very friendly and chilled. The breakfast was fantastic

  We had a lovely stay @ c-hotel Joy Florence. The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms are not large but the bed was extremely comfortable and the shower water pressure was great. The location being across the road form the station means no lugging your cases into taxis and along the cobblestone streets through Florence. Super convenient.

  The hotel bed was comfortable and the breakfast was decent. However, the quality of service at the reception was extremely poor when we arrived at the hotel. As soon as we arrived, the receptionist questioned why our reservation was for two people, even though I had made the booking for three people (two adults and one child). There was confusion regarding what kind of bed had been arranged for the child. The receptionist behaved in a very arrogant manner towards me and said things such as, “Don’t you understand English?” and “It is your problem for booking this kind of room.” At no point did the staff apologize, try to find a solution to the issue, or make any effort to calm the situation down. On the contrary, he continuously acted aggressively towards the customer. I would highly recommend that the receptionist take a course on how to work in a customer service profession. At this price level, the service was completely unacceptable, and I would definitely not recommend this hotel.

  After a long day of delayed flights, canceled trains, and emotional exhaustion, arriving at Joy Hotel felt like a relief. The calm atmosphere immediately helped us escape the stress of travel. The location is perfect — just around the corner from the train station — yet peaceful and welcoming. Christian and Matteo were incredibly kind and accommodating from the very first moment. They immediately helped us with our luggage and made sure a room was ready as quickly as possible, which meant so much after traveling from the USA. The room was pristine with beautiful crisp white towels, and the small touches — espresso before leaving and a welcoming drink — made the experience feel truly special. Even when we accidentally woke up past checkout because of jet lag, the staff handled everything with kindness and understanding and happily stored our luggage while we explored Florence. Professional, elegant, calm, and authentically Italian hospitality. I will absolutely stay here again.

  Great location, a few meters from the train station, very kind staff.Had booked Smart room, apparently they upgraded us to next one, this was small, dread to think what the Smart was like. Actual Bed was fine, however bathroom was very small, small sink, nowhere to put washbag, small cubicle for shower, limited force on the shower and it leaked into the bathroom. They should remove the bidet and rearrange the bathroom with bit larger sink with room for wash bag etc. Breakfast was very basic, not much hot or fruit choice.
