    Our friends invited us to dinner to celebrate a joint 85th birthday and 36th wedding anniversary. Our friend has a specific food allergy, which we advised at the time of booking and again upon arrival.Ludmilla, the restaurant manager could not have been more helpful. She took every care to advise us of the ingredients of each dish and ensured that one item mistakenly ordered was not served. All through the meal (which included a lovely complimentary glass of celebratory fizz) her attentiveness was much appreciated. Her control of the evening was challenged by some new, young service staff who were most enthusiastic but as yet unskilled, which will surely improve rapidly with each meal service. We were all flushed with the geniality of the evening and hope we managed to thank Ludmilla properly as we departed but it’s possible we were rather too jovial.Overall, we enjoyed our aperitivi on the terrace with a lovely rooftop view, followed by a delicious meal (I recommend the duck) and apologise for the length of time that has elapsed before composing this review. , Proprietario at Kraft Hotel, responded to this review Dear customer,Thank you so much for your wonderful review!     Kraft Hotel is an absolute gem! We loved our room with its balcony, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was outstanding, and the restaurant offered wonderful food with amazing views of the city.     An excellent hotel - enough said!

    This is an excellent hotel in a convenient location - about a 20 minute walk from the historical centre but convenient for Santa Novella station. The staff are welcoming, friendly and very helpful. The rooms and public spaces are clean and comfortable. The air conditioning in the room was effective and the shower was really good too. It is perhaps worth paying a bit extra for a balcony room as this also appears to provide you with a bit more space. Breakfast, served on the top floor with terrace seating available, was also excellent with a good buffet providing a choice of lovely options: - hot, cold, cereals, pastries etc.. The cooked food was really good particulartly the sausage and scambled eggs.     What a lovely hotel. It's a 4 star but the service is 5 star. The best feature is the roof terrace which is spectacular; There is a restaurant area (also breakfast) and a small pool area with lounges. We enjoyed spending time on the roof terrace after a busy day. Very good breakfast with an egg station.     The hotel is very nice, lovely views out over the city.15 min walk to the centre.Food and drink very good.Only issues we had being on the 5th floor was staff moving furniture around on the floor above until after 11pm although when mentioned the would stop immediately.Also don’t leave balcony doors open at night we found mosquitos found their way in.Would stay again. , Proprietario at Kraft Hotel, responded to this review Dear guest,We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay in Florence and thank you for your positive feedback on our services.
