    Filthy no staff no breakfast dishonest

    Dirty abandoned hostel! Staff nowhere to be seen. Kitchen filthy. Staff failed to provide breakfast. Nothing at all. No sign of Staff to ask. After complaint to agent, manager lied to cover tracks claiming we were told to go to hotel above. Kitchen same state next day. Went to hotel upstairs and manager no idea about lie. Staff member got him to cover. Shower and toilet faulty and serious health hazards. Seemed like we were the only guests. Do jot go here!

    "Avoid This Place – Disappointing Stay in Florence"Our stay in Florence was a huge disappointment. This place felt more like an abandoned house than a hotel—no staff around, no service, and a generally unfriendly atmosphere. Breakfast only starts at 8 AM, so we couldn’t have it since most tours start earlier. The kitchen amenities were lacking (no working kettle!), and there was no hot water in the shower. They also charge 7 euros per person per day as a city tax, with very little in return. If you're traveling to Florence, I’d strongly suggest looking elsewhere for a comfortable and welcoming stay. This place isn’t worth the rating and definitely doesn’t meet expectations for a good trip.

    Arrived at the guesthouse as it is not a hotel yesterday 15th Nov 23 around 3.30pm. Where the doorbell is was a note to call for check in. The management assumes whoever is checking in has a phone.My husband buzzed every bell in the building and someone let us in.When we got to the front door of the rooms we rang the bell, again no answer. There was a combination entry so my husband punched in a bunch of 4 digits and was lucky enough to find one that opened the door. The place was completely abandoned, no receptionist no management. We picked up the phone at reception to call someone to come and check us in and give us a room. Again no answer.Fortunately the rooms were available and open so we chose the smallest one as it felt the warmest. It's mid November and no heating is on anywhere!The management arrived the next morning I complained I was cold and they put the heating on for 10 minutes to appease me and switched it back off. Shortly after they disappeared and were never seen again.I asked a guest to call them and ask if they could put the heating on. The guest told me it will come on at 10pm it was 6.30pm at the time.I am writing at 10.30pm no heating. I am absolutely freezing we are using the hairdryer to warm up the bed. My toes are numb.The 1st night we arrived the CCTV never moved, once they realised we had let ourselves in and we're black people it moves as soon as we leave our room. If they had checked the camera's the day before they would have seen we got into the property and come down to check us in. I will be informing the hotel regulation board that they are running a "hotel" but are not physically present and not providing basic amenities such as heat in winter.

    La Corta dei principi Don't go here. Simply put. Because:1. Black mold in the shower. 2. Very warm in the room. Refusal to turn on AC. Told me, "It's not July." 3. Mosquitoes while the window is opened. 4. Entry door and bathroom door scrape the floor.Rude management.

    This a 3 star hotel. It is clean. It is small. The manager is friendly and speaks English. Breakfast is adequate. Luxurious it is not however it is good value. The Hotel is 15 minutes easy walk from the centre of Florance. Car parking is near but costs 30 Euros for 24 hours. The front of the Hotel is not well signed. There is good but small supermarket next to the hotel and a decent Italian restaurant opposite. For the money I would recommend this Hotel.
