    We had a lovely welcome from the host who was very friendly and helped us book local restaurants. Made us feel very welcome. The room was excellent - my son ( 10) says it was the best room he has ever stayed in. Good breakfast in a lovely room. All in all a 5 star experience.

    Our experience at Leone Blu was amazing from start to finish. Their staff was extremely communicative before arrival, going over how to find them and the check-in process. We arrived, and Anastasia immediately welcomed us with drinks, an easy check-in process, a history of the hotel, and a map of Florence, along with recommendations to get us started with our day. The common areas were large and beautiful, overlooking the Arno. Our room (Bindaccio) was perfect for a family of three - our 16-year-old daughter took the upstairs loft, and we slept below. The room design was unique and artistic, with plenty of room for us to unpack our large American luggage and also have our own space. It was just like the photos on their website. Breakfast was offered daily, and it was delicious and a great start to the day, offering a continental and typical American (eggs, bacon, sausage) spread. While there was some street noise that could be heard from our room, we found it enjoyable and were able to use sound machine apps when sleeping. When checking out, the staff was able to store our bags since we had an early Vespa tour in Chianti. Anastasia even helped us arrange a taxi to the train and sent us off with pastries since we missed breakfast that day.If you get a chance and want to stay somewhere in an accessible location, history, and service to match, do not miss Leone Blu.     We have had the most wonderful time staying here. The rooms are beautiful, excellent views, incredible, friendly staff and a delicious breakfast!     Worst hotel and customer service. Very unprofessional and not worst it.

    We experienced a travel disruption and were hoping the hotel would be understanding and accommodating, but unfortunately that was not the case. The staff were not flexible or helpful given the situation, which added unnecessary stress to an already difficult day.When we stopped by the property, we were also disappointed to find that it did not match the photos advertised online. The hotel felt quite dark and gloomy, and the reception area appeared dusty and not well maintained. It did not give a clean or welcoming first impression.Due to these concerns, we decided not to stay and left. Overall, we were disappointed with both the condition of the property and the lack of accommodation during our travel disruption.     Absolutely love our stay here! The welcome introduction was helpful and inspired us to add Pitti Palace to our itinerary (glad we did!). Location was fabulous - close to shops, eateries and supermarkets and the bridge at Arno River was literally steps away - making it really convenient to access Oltrano and Centrico Storico. Staff were awesome - responsive, courteous and very efficient. Breakfast staff in particular were so pleasant - the wonderful lady even remembered my coffee preferences! Suite was huge and beautifully decorated. Heater was centrally controlled so I find the room slightly warm but husband liked it. All in all a great stay and the lovely handwritten note was a nice touch!
