    Unique historic building/hotel

    rating22 May 2026

We arrived at the hotel early and were able to check into our rooms which was nice. The elevator is very small, two of us with carry-on bags and backpacks just barely fit. Our room was amazing (room 31). It had a large sitting room, 2 full bathrooms and a bedroom with views of the Duomo. (I found out later we had received a complimentary upgrade.) Our room was very comfortable. The breakfast here was very good and the staff was nice. The location was excellent, just 1/2 a block to the Accademia and close to the Duomo. The hotel is a good value for the money. I would definitely stay here again.

    Impossible to sleep

    rating06 May 2026

While the hotel itself looks nice and pleasant, the actual sleeping experience was impossible. Seeing as that’s what a hotel is for, I could not give it more than 2 stars. We paid for a very expensive suit for my family to stay in and were kept up all night by the loud stomping and music playing in the floor above us. When we notified the staff they said there was nothing they could do because it’s an apartment rented out as an air BnB and they don’t know which one or how to contact them. It made it impossible to sleep in the two beds in the adjoining room, I got barely 4 hours of sleep. Not to mention that people congregate on the steps outside of the hotel for parties and protests, smoking and making a bunch of noise all through the night. Terrible. And they did not offer to discount the stay despite us not being able to use half the suit. Whatever you do, don’t book room 24.

Fantastic - saved my Florence trip!!

    rating18 Apr 2026

I had the most delightful experience at Hotel Loggiato Dei Servini, after what could have been a holiday-ruining experience. Having spent my first night in Florence in noisy accommodation that kept me awake all night, I needed to quickly book somewhere else that would be quiet, and found this hotel. Once booked I brought my luggage to them in the morning to store until check-in, and they were incredibly attentive and helpful (which given how sleep-deprived I was, was hugely appreciated!). I then went to explore the city and came back to check in, at which point I was informed I’d been given an upgrade and that my bags were already in the room, which was brilliant! A porter helped me up to the room on the top floor, which was spacious, immaculate and incredibly comfortable. The room amenities (minibar, toiletries, tea, coffee) and lovely large bed were fantastic, and later that evening I slept so soundly - there was also a pillow menu available! There was flexibility for me to opt into breakfast on the morning if I felt like it, but instead I enjoyed a coffee in bed before checking out, where the front desk called a taxi to the station for me.Given that this was an unplanned stay, I feel very lucky to have enjoyed a night here, and if I come back to Florence, I’ll definitely return!

Centuries old and still very comfortable!

    rating23 Mar 2026

The Loggiato is located in the Piazza Annunziata, a central spot in Florence. It’s across from the Museo Innocenti, a medieval foundlings hospital. Also on the square is the Annunziata cathedral. Right around the corner from both Accademia (David) and the Museo San Marco. The hotel is centuries old but updated and very well-kept. Love the antique furnishings! And a sumptuous breakfast and gracious staff.

Happily returned to this interesting hotel!

    rating26 Feb 2026

We returned to Il Loggiato dei Serviti after a lovely stay there earlier in the fall, and it was just as wonderful the second time. The location is fantastic — only about a five-minute walk from the Duomo — making it easy to explore Florence on foot. The hotel has an old-world charm, with spacious rooms, antique furnishings, and a sense of history that feels very Florentine. At the same time, the staff are warm, welcoming, and extremely knowledgeable about the area, always ready with helpful suggestions. And they had a pillow menu so you can order what helps you get the best night’s sleep! We especially appreciated the thoughtful details: plush towels, good reading lights, and convenient chargers in the room. Breakfast each morning was excellent. It’s a comfortable, elegant place to stay, and we would happily return again.
