  Nice and close within walking distance of the major attractions.Comfortable accommodation, with a Trattoria right next door.Stayed 3 nights and thanks to Lorenzo and Sara for being great hosts.Serves a hefty continental breakfast, and we were lucky with our downstairs suite to have a small outdoor area to sit at.

  Beautiful architecture. Classic Italy

  Perfectly located within walking distance of the main attractions, Santa Maria cathedral del Fiore, duomo, Palazzo Vecchio, Ponte Vecchio and all the other beautiful buildings and museums. The building itself is an old former prison and its heritage is reflected throughout. Our bedroom even had preserved graffiti with the date 1737. It is very modern, comfortable and Lorenzo is helpful and very welcoming. Lovely breakfast with fruit, Coisants cheese, ham etc. it was very hot during our stay, sometimes 40 degrees but our room was air conditioned and had a balcony. Some steps up and not easy with suitcases but a relatively small matter. Would definitely stay here again. Florence is very popular with tourists and lots of Americans were there during our visit. We also took a day trip to Pisa while there.

  Nice location, excellent staff, comfortable room, bed, shower. The host was particularly gracious and helpful. Breakfast was adequate, coffee available at all times. I would definitely recommend this place. Good communication and recommendations.

  Charming B&B in a great location

  A lovely B&B with a lot of historic charm. The location is great, very central to everything. The kind host, Lorenzo, provides breakfast box containing a couple of croissants and a muffin every morning along with yogurt, coffee, tea, and juice. You can eat in the cute garden area or take it back to your room. He also left us a nice bottle of wine as a welcome gift. Our room was at the front of the building and faced the street but it was still very quiet - didn’t hear any street noise or people passing by. The room is quite large with a big armoire and plenty of room for your stuff. Only one negative - heavy use of plug-in air “fresheners” in the public areas and rooms. If you are sensitive to perfumes and cloying smells you might request ahead of time that they don’t plug any in your room. It was fine once I removed them from the walls but overwhelming when we first walked in.

  Great stay in Florence

  Great location about 10 minutes walking distance from the Duomo, and close to the San Lorenzo market area which has a lot of dining options. We stayed on one of the rooms that opened to the garden and had a lovely pation view and a private exterior table to eat breakfast sheltered from the rain. The room was small but very cozy and we were provided daily with yogurt and water in the mini fridge. Juice and coffee was also available at all times by the reception area. Other amenities included a book selection and a covered patio area with chairs. Umbrellas were also available and very useful during our stay. The staff was very kind and attentive. Only downside is breakfast is a selection of pastries from a nearby bakery and it gets somehow repetitive if you stay for more than two nights. We will definitely be returning if we ever come back to Florence, a great option!
