    Nice Stay & Very Good Restaurant

    Staff was very kind and helpful.If you want to explore the area near Florence with a car then this hotel is ideal: - low parking fee (if you use their garage) or none (outdoor parking)- very close to the motorway exitThe hotel has an excellent restaurant with good service. We enjoyed our dinner very much.It is very close to the airport and related rental car station.

    The Novotel Firenze Nord has improved significantly compared to previous stays. The rooms have been renovated and are now modern, spacious, and very comfortable, with a large bed and a fully equipped bathroom. The high-speed internet works perfectly, which is always appreciated.The restaurant has also regained its quality and is once again very good. A special mention for the staff, who are attentive and provide highly professional service throughout the stay.Overall, a very pleasant experience and a clear improvement for this hotel.     A complete lack of trust and consideration

    The complete lack of care or consideration for our situation. We had a 3 am start for a 6 am flight for my partner which was cancelled The airline put us up in this god forsaken hole. The airline were to supply lunch at the hotel. This hotel wouldn’t let us eat the lunch until 1 pm. We had been up since 3 am. My partner fell asleep waiting and missed lunch. Because I wasn’t included in the free lunch arrangement they wouldn’t let us let me have my lunch with my partner. I asked why and they said it was a buffet and I might help myself to the buffet without paying for it. I pointed out that it sounded very much like they didn’t trust me. They refused to change the rules. I had to pay for the buffet or not eat with my partner. My partner had 2 vouchers each for €25 one for dinner and one for lunch. I asked if we could use them both for lunch and not dinner because we have to up again at 3 am and we won’t be able to eat dinner until 8 pm. They refused that too.     Absolutely terrible

    My partner and I stayed the night here to make our journey to the airport the following morning easier. Everything seemed okay until we got up to our room. We are here in winter and we’re sweating. It was easily 80° F in our room. We both tried to fall asleep and couldn’t because it just kept getting hotter. We called down to reception who told us to wait two minutes and try to turn the AC again and then once we waiting and it wasn’t working we called back at got yelled at that “ma’am, someone is coming to your room”. A hotel staff member came in, did the exact same things we had tried, had no success and offered us a fan. The room was miserable all night. Do not recommend.
