The hotel is located in the heart of Florence's historic centre, in one of the oldest streets, Via della Scala, within easy walking distance of the Cathedral, Uffizi Gallery, Ponte Vecchio and all main points of interest. The hotel is very near the central station and airport shuttle bus terminal, both easily reachable on foot. Peretola Airport is situated at a distance of approximately 5 km and Galileo Galilei Airport is roughly 80 km.

The hotel was built in 1500. The hotel has 4 junior suites, 3 single rooms and 27 double rooms, which are located on 3 storeys and are reachable by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out.     Staff was friendly and helpful; provided information on ideas on things to do. Room was Ok, the A/C didn't work all the time. Had to use a key for your room. The bathroom was very small, shower got water everywhere. The breakfast not to bad; the hot food was not hot. Staff was nice.

    This a a gem of a hotel. Quiet old fashioned charm perfectly located for exploring Florence. Staff super lovely polite smiling and every whim was catered for. Just a delight from start to finish with a bountiful delicious breakfast. Home from home feeling and very secure not to mention a hidden courtyard garden with a huge citrus tree at the centre.     Great central hotel in Florence.

    This hotel was great to stay in for my 4 day stay in Florence. Central location and easy to walk to everything including the train station. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was good with a nice view out the window.     This is a beautiful authentic Italian hotel, which is central for almost all the sights of Florence. The staff are very helpful approachable and friendly . Our room was extremely comfortable,and very clean as were the communal areas. Breakfast was plentiful and enjoyable.     Staying for a second time, a very comfortable, clean, charming and friendly place Location is great. Service is perfect. A temporary glitch with the shower was sorted out immediately.
