  Great location and safe area just outside of the fanciest bits - rooms would be very spacious for four - was a little tight with six (fold out bed does encroach on the kitchen) staff were super friendly and helpful.

  This hotel is more suited for backpackers or families on a budget where you prefer to cook meals yourselves as the room has a kitchenette. The room was an average size for 2. The room smelt of vinegar, not sure if this was cleaning products or cooking smells. The first morning, we found no cups and no kettle. This was promptly rectified, though, no English television channels, and the safe wasn't secured to anything. Breakfast was next door in a cafe but not much on offer. The main issue was the aircon, which was very antiquated and did not keep the room cool at all and hidden behind the curtains, not sure how this was meant to cool the room. We did complain but was promptly told that it's working, not efficient at all for us as it was 39 degrees outside, so much so we checked out on day 2 to go to another hotel. The shower gels were hidden in drawers in tiny sachets, not a bottle dispenser as one would expect. If you want a hotel where you can relax I'd probably advise you to stay elsewhere.

  Disappointing Experience although the location and parking were great!

  We thought this place would be great - the pics are wonderful. We wanted larger size beds as my husband is tall - almost 2 meters. Location is great. And having a place to park in historic Florence is really difficult, so that is fantastic. However, we were disappointed. The place was clean. It was modern. But its like working in an office with cubicles. The rooms are not private. There is only a wall that goes up 7 feet and then is open to the ceiling. We were sharing the apartment with my sister and husband. But the lights from their room or ours was visible in the other. Sounds also carry if someone got up early or stayed awake later. There is nowhere to hang a toiletry bag - in fact, no hooks anywhere. This place is used by Florida State Univ. for students who had taken over the laundry room on our floor, so that was not helpful. It's above some cafes and restaurants which were noisy til late. The bathroom is shared (and does have a ceiling). But the sink has no stopper. There is no place to put soap or shampoo in the shower but on the floor (or open the sliding shower door to reach in and out on a small shelf.Most of all the beds were not comfortable. One of the beds (the king) was actually two portable steel bedframes together with insufficient mattresses on top- not permanent beds. It had a sink or dip in the middle so head and feet are higher than the body. We tried to offset that with pillows and blankets. It might be ok for people in their 20’s but for older bodies, it is not comfortable. The other bed was not as bad but also consisted of two mattresses put together.

  The place is average, but its location was fantastic!!

  Close to everything. Never walked more than 16 minutes. Never had to drive, and you won't want too. Traffic is a mess. Close to all the attractions! Close to restaurants, a Conad supermarket, and our favorite gelato place, Il Procopio!!! Also, the young lady at the front desk was absolutely terrific!!! She gets 10 stars all day long. As does the location.Only down side is €25 a day for parking.
