    The best hostel in Florence!During my long stay, I always felt at home. For me, Plus Florence was my first real home in Florence. Everything was always clean and well organized, and every member of the staff was kind, helpful, and professional.The restaurant is excellent and very well organized, with an incredibly kind staff. The bar staff are also always friendly and welcoming.But the real gem, for me, was the indoor swimming pool. With its pleasantly warm, almost thermal water, it became part of my daily routine: almost every evening, I went for a swim before going to bed. It was always clean and had a fantastic staff. In that pool, I truly lived my own Florentine dolce vita! 😊I would like to sincerely thank the entire staff for their warm welcome, kindness, and impeccable hospitality throughout my stay.I highly recommend Plus Florence to anyone visiting Florence, whether for a short stay or a longer one.Thank you for everything! ❤️Burcu

    Great breakfast, but slow check-in and noisy nights

    The biggest hostel I have ever visited. Breakfast is very nice, but also quite chaotic - take your tray to the inner yard outside, if you can, it's calmer out there. For coffee at breakfast, I recommend to buy the one from the coffee machine behind the bar, as coffee from the breakfast coffee machine was really bad. Private rooms are super clean and spacious. But I just didn't like how noisy it is in the hostel, even with closed windows. There is an Irish pub across the street and the noise goes on the whole night. Also cars passing by under the windows don't help. This might be much better for the rooms facing the inner yard. Check-in is very slow. You need to get a number from the machine and then wait somewhere around. I've also noticed that various group of travelers get different prices of information, depending on staff member checking them in. The girl checking me didn't mention breakfast at all, I needed to ask her about that. Check-out was much faster than check-in, but at 10 AM there was a line of people lining at the reception to drop their key and leave.

    Not worth the price at all they don’t even have aircon

    We are in a private room and there are no plugs next to the bed to charge phones. It’s 26°C and there’s no aircon, we asked at reception but they said it’s still on the winter setting??? So there’s nothing they can do? And it’s very hot in the rooms and can’t keep the window open because there’s quite a few mosquitoes and we have been bitten loads the night before. , Proprietario at Plus Florence, responded to this review Hello E434Dtinak, thank you for leaving a comment. Our A/C system is centralised and while it is possible to turn it on or off, it is not possible to regulate temperature. Also, this time of the year it is still on winter setting, as required in the city, so the splits can only heat, rather than cool.     The front desk employees are very ill mannered. I wouldn’t go back.     I came for solo travelling in Florence. Plus Florence was a huge hotel, unfortunately i didn't had time to see the facilities.they provided free shoap bars and shower gels, toilet paper, lockers, towels and bedsheets.The room (female dormitory) was very clean and the building looked overall new and in well condition , Proprietario at Plus Florence, responded to this review Thank you Virginia for your kind words and positive feedback.
