    A Perfect Florence Home Base

    The location could not have been better—we easily walked from the train station with our luggage and then spent our entire stay exploring Florence on foot without ever needing a taxi.The hotel/apartment was beautifully renovated while still maintaining the charm of the historic building. We loved having a separate living room and bedroom, which gave us much more space than a typical hotel room. The unit was thoughtfully equipped with a coffee maker, coffee cups, wine glasses, and a mini fridge, making it feel more like a home than a hotel.The building itself was secure and had a lift, which was greatly appreciated after long days of sightseeing. The beds were very comfortable, and everything was clean and well-maintained.Our favorite part was opening the large windows and taking in the atmosphere of Florence. We could hear street musicians performing below, listen to the church bells ringing throughout the day, and enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding historic buildings, including glimpses of the Duomo area.

    Can’t beat the location! The hotel was very clean and well appointed. Has been modernized but is still very charming. The staff were very friendly. Felt very safe and in the centre of the action. Worth every penny. So close to everything.

    Our second stay at these lovely apartments and we will definitely be back again. Recommend staying in the Signoria suite as you get a great balcony which overlooks the piazza. It is right on (in our opinion) the most beautiful piazza in Florence, next to the Uffizi and round the corner from the Ponte Vecchio. It can be a little noisy at night or early morning at times but worth the pay off for all the great things!Great accommodation with small kitchen, seating area, comfy bed and decent shower. Great staff. Good value. What’s not to love!

    Perfect location. Very accommodating in changing our rooms to meet our needs. Clean, very comfy beds. Great shower. Lovely staff. Clean towels every couple of days. Nothing too much trouble. Highly recommend.

    Hotel where its downstairs lobby is literally the Piazza Signore!

    Its a boutique “relais” hotel right at Via Vacchereccia 3 where literally downstairs is the Piazza della Signoria, & at the back is the Uffizi Gallery and Palazzo Vecchio. Really smallish but well furnished (about 11 rooms) w/ free Wi‑Fi, air‑conditioning, kitchenettes, &’private bathrooms w/ showers & bidets. Great central location & clean rooms, elevators really small & needs a great squeeze if you have heavy luggages and the room keys not so easy to open doors, there’s no on‑site breakfast (but not a problem) & the front desk is only staffed from 9 am – 5 pm. They provide access number by the door downstairs & even at check in- read instructions on checking in, especially late checking. But it’s worth our visit! Excellent location. Would stay here next time.
