Location

This hotel is located on the outskirts of a quaint village by the name of Impruneta and is perched on a hill dotted with grey olive trees, overlooking the Chianti valley. The village centre is a 5-minute stroll away and offers shops, links to the public transport network and typical trattorias where guests can savour Tuscan culinary delicacies. It lies a 10-minute drive from the main road to Siena and from the A1 motorway linking Milan to Rome and is just 10 km from Florence (with a bus departing for the city every 30 minutes), making it the ideal place in which to relax in the Tuscan countryside without forfeiting the chaotic bustle of the city. The Chianti region is just a 20-minute drive, San Gimignano is 30 minutes by car and it is a 40-minute drive to Siena. Florence's airport is just 15 km away and it is 80 km to Pisa Airport.

Facility

8 apartments and 4 double rooms are available to guests in a 2-storey main building and 2 auxiliary buildings. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access (for a fee) is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The apartment hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Rooms

    Everything we expected and more. We had such a lovely 4 days in the Tuscan countryside at this wonderful place. It was such a great experience. Rooms refreshingly upgraded while maintaining all of the old world charm of the buildings on the property.

    We had a terrible experience here! We were supposed to stay here the night of our wedding. We had booked the hotel over 5 months in advance and a few weeks before the reservation, I reached out letting them know that we would be checking in very late 2am or so and to see if we needed to do anything in particular. We gave them all the information they requested and confirmed with them day of that everything was set and they had everything they needed and we’d get the information for our room. I did not have my phone on me all afternoon/evening because I was getting married. Our driver dropped us off and I had to find my phone in the bags that were in the van. Upon checking, we had no information on email or whats app on how to access our room. There was a letter for other guests outside the front desk door on how to access their room, but we did not have one. We tried calling and whats app with no response. No where is there an emergency phone call listed online or in person. We ended up stranded here at 2am with no way to access our hotel room. We ended up making it to another hotel to stay the night and we received a very generic “apology” that there system had malfunctioned and not sent us the information. They did not act sincere in the apology at all. To make matters worse they would not refund our credit card (our original form of payment) and required us to do wire transfer. They have had our information for the wire transfer for over a week and we still have not received a refund. We started our refund process the day after the wedding. That was 6 weeks ago. The management seems terrible and completely unorganized.

    A pleasant overnight stay

    We stayed here for one night at the start of a tour of Tuscany and Umbria. The room was very pleasant, with a comfortable bed and functional bathroom. The air conditioning worked well. The pool area is nice, with a decent sized pool. We did not dine here,but the breakfast was very good. The hotel is in a nice position, and the staff were very welcoming.Overall, a very pleasant stay indeed.

    My friend and I went there for a pool day, it is 90€ per person . The location is pretty but the Good was all horrible. They barely had any vegetarian options, they only had 2 deserts left. The service was horrible , they took 1 hour between first and second course and seemed annoyed that we were there. Over all not worth it, Don’t recommend it

    Beautiful Setting, Wonderful Stay

    This villa is set in a wonderful location just south of Florence and has superb views of the region. Our trip only afforded one night's stay and we wish we could have stayed longer. We had the garden villa room, which was perfect for our family of three. We found the drive in and back to Florence easy with a nav system. The hotel has an onsite restaurant - we ate both lunch and dinner here and found it very tasty. We also participated in the wine and olive tasting tour and enjoyed the experience. The town of Imprunetana is within walking distance and is worth walking around. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. This villa was recommended to us and we have already recommended it to others who are looking to explore the Tuscan region.
