This attractive apartment hotel is housed in a 19th Century classical palace beside the River Arno in the heart of the city, near Santa Croce Square (approximately 600 m away) and opposite Michelangelo Square. Facility

The apartment hotel welcomes guests in a 3-storey building with a lift and 16 apartments. Multilingual staff at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions.     We stood two nights in Florence with the family(including a 1 year-old baby). We specifically requested to check out but to keep our baggage in the reception so we can take one more tour during the day. It was confirmed prior to the visit. On our leaving day, the attendant from the hotel told us that it was not possible when checking out, that “the reception is not a storage place” We ended up changing our itinerary for the day, paying two taxis to the train station, and paying to store our baggage there, so we can spend our last day in this lovely city. Total of €85 for this “inconvenient”. The good part is that we didn’t have any tours booked, if not we would have missed them, too. The attendant at reception was non-courteous at all. We also called the contact numbers located in the contact information card with no answer. It is easily understandable they don’t care about this situation, since there is a lot of tourists coming to Florence every day, so there are a lot of easy money for them to get. If they don’t care about their commitments, I don’t expect any changes with a bad review. I just writing this to help future customers avoiding situations like this in the future.

    The rooms are spacious and have a well equipped kitchen.The room is furnished with the most basic furniture. The bed is not comfortable. Blankets are old and pretty uncomfortable for sleeping and there is no heating at night!Rooms are only cleaned once a week.Next to a main road so very noisy.

    I stayed one night at Residence San Niccolò 79. The apartment was immaculate, the staff Federico and Andrew were incredibly pleasant and helpful. It was clean and easy to find. Very responsive to emails. I would definitely stay again!

    The apartment was clean and well maintained. Plenty of room, cooking facilities were great. The apartments are a bit of a walk from the main attractions but nothing off putting. Would defiantly stay again.

    Although the location is amazing, we were the happy winners of the studio located in the parking lot. We paid full price for 4 stars, yet the studio was at the most 2. Between our hallway and the neighbors there was a bookcase ( I kid you not), the bedroom was one broken bed and just one nightstand (and that was the entire room), the walls were cracked, we had bars at the windows and door and everything was obsolete and should have been taken out of use a long time ago. The garbage was taken just once in 7days and by the looks of the entire place, this studio was actually an old laundry room. Being in the parking lot also meant that the people parking could easily see in our room. I leave you with the pictures so that when you book it, make sure you don't end paying 4 stars for a dump.
