This hotel is located on the left bank of the River Arno, a few minutes' walk from the historical centre and just outside of the limited traffic area.     This hotel was a great location across the river from all the historic sites, but easy walking distance to everything. It didn't feel quite as crowded and touristy as other places. The bed was a little firm and the shower was a little small for my tall husband, but we still loved this place. The breakfast spread in the morning was great and all of the staff were nice and helpful.

    Hotel Silla is my home away from home! While you are there, you are treated like family. The staff is so wonderful and the hotel itself offers all the amenities I look for including laundry service, in house bar, a beautiful terrace and a wonderful breakfast each morning. In addition, the location is perfect, sitting just outside the busy city center, in the Oltrano. I love the San Niccolò neighborhood! I usually visit once a year and can’t wait to be back!!

    I have nothing but positive things to say about this hotel. The room was large and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel is located in a very convenient spot near Ufizzi Gallery and the Ponte Vecchio Bridge. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. They made recommendations for restaurants and points of interest. The hotel had indoor parking which was great. I would return in a heartbeat.

    Room 1 had sewage fumes as well as multiple rooms on first floor according to others in our tour group during May 12 to 15, 2026 stay. Hotel service and breakfast was good overall though. Great location to stay away from crowds but still very walkable to attractions.

    Great location across the Arno with easy walking to all of Florence's great museums and sites. Housed in an historic building with rooms that are clean and modern. And our stay came with an excellent breakfast buffet.
